Which is reasonable given their limited resources and less combat experience compared to American units which tend to be deployed far more regularly. Because we get into more wars then Canada.

pretty sure they don't do selection as far as anyone can tell. it was formed around 14 int so probably follows the 14 int entry process, although some sources say srr seem to have their own course, and it's length is given as anything from 8 weeks to 6 months. full blown sf is about 12 months i think. it's been suggested that srr's is based on p coy. remember that srr has women and no woman has ever passed selection before. and if someone can pass selection then they'd be streamed into sf proper because they're always understaffed; if you're that quality there are better things for you to do.
