kek

>>29494557
I have a glock 20 and I shoot it no problem, but the lack of grip on the 29, coupled with the amount of recoil a 10mm has makes for a horrible shooting pistol

>tfw I bet you dont even own a 10mm
>>
>>29494597
The reason I sold my P30SK was because it shot the same as my USPc. The recoil was exactly the same, and they even weigh almost the same, but the USPc has 3 more rounds capacity. I know that the HK website says the USPc weighs more, but I put them both on my postage scale, and there was less than 1 ounce of difference.
>>
>>29494599
>>anyone thinking .40 is better than 9mm
>kek
You're an idiot, you know that?
>>
>>29494622
Would you ever consider getting a P30L (or P30) as a full size counterpart to the USPc?
>>
>>29494636
Do you not keep up with anything in the gun community? People are fucking running from the .40 right now. The FBI has eve abandoned it, everyone with any foresight can see it is destined to end up like 10mm and .357sig
>>
>>29494622
whats smaller (or better for ccw) p30sk or uspc?
im going to get one of them just havnt decided which. any other differences you would point out between uspc and p30sk?
>>
>>29494646
Honestly, there's nothing wrong with the P30SK. The fact that it shoots the same as the USPc, but is more compact, is a testament to its recoil reduction system, which works very well. I just didn't like the niche that it fits into. The grip is so fat and so large that I just didn't see it being an effective concealed-carry pistol, and the design of the bottom of the grip (it's flared outward) is such that you can never truly get an effective pinky extension on the thing. It's not even that compact, in terms of height, either. A USPc or a P2000 would be a better choice for concealed-carry. The P30(L) is fine as a full size pistol. I don't personally like the safety set up - it rubs my thumb all wrong - but give me a P30 with the Light LEM trigger any day of the week and I'll be a happy camper.

>"subcompact"
>it's so fucking bloated it might as well be a fullsize

What the hell, krauts.
>>
>>29494700
The P30SK is a bit smaller, but really not that much. In retrospect, I'd probably get a P2000 or P2000SK because the grip is slim and has slick sides. Also, the P2000 is going to be a little bit lighter weight than the USPc. I don't own a P2000, but you can get them for like $625 online now, which is extraordinary.

That's also a good price. The P2000 is from the past era of HK handguns, and its original MSRP was over $1000. The newer HK handguns that have come out since their business troubles, like the VP9 and P30SK, have been priced more in line with the market, but most of their handguns from past eras, like the USP, are still priced in the $1000 range.
>>
>>29495152
Is the trigger on the USP's better than the P30? I know compared to the Mark 23 (unfair comparison) the P30 trigger is shit.
>>
>>29495077
16" barrel and I haven't shot it yet. Got it in a trade today for an AR pistol. Scope is a 4-16x44 which seems a bit over-powered for .300blk considering it's max recommended range is like 400 yards.
>>
>>29495212

>>
>>29495176
The USP trigger reset is shorter, and the double action pull doesn't stack as much (stacking is when the pull weight gets heavier the farther you pull it back - some people like a trigger that stacks, some don't). However, I don't think the differences are great enough to really factor into a decision as to which one to buy. Both have very workable DA pulls and both have very workable SA pulls.

In regard to the Mark 23, and USP customization, though, there are a few specialty trigger, sear, springs, and other parts that you can use in USPs to achieve a match trigger pull, and I'm not aware of any equivalents with the P30. For example, some HK fanboys maintain that the USP Expert (also the Elite) is one of the best handguns out there in terms of the trigger pull. I don't really agree, but the point is that stock USP and stock P30 triggers aren't really that different from one another, practically speaking.
>>
>>29495273
So in other words the price difference between the USP and P30 isnt worth the USP?
>>
>>29495239
Yeah, the guy I got it from said it shot excellently at 200yd plus all the reviews of Savannah River Armory I can find say they're quality so I think it'll be a good shooter.

The shape is fine, but the plain stainless finish and lack of any texture makes it look like some kind of home-made prototype. If I got one, I'd have to at the very least re-finish it to be darker, and get some scroll work added to the frame.

It just looks so plain for being a compound wrist fracture device.

I just got a whisper fusion pro 22cal. At work, so no good camera other than a cell phone. This will be my permascoped air rifle for hunting from now on. And as usual, predator polymags perform well and will be my go to hunting pellet.
I can't figure out any velocities I'm getting yet, still trying to google and find some concrete info there on velocity and energy it puts out, but I believe it a bit under 900fps with normal weight pellets.
But this thing absolutely rocks my rimfire spinner targets compared to the 177, it's obvious that there's a ton more energy than my 177 whisper fusion.

Got my first 1911 on Saturday and finally shot it today. It was below zero out so I only put 100 rounds of three different brands through it but it so far no temperamental issues.
Definitely more accurate with it than my edc G26

I get PPU target loads for 17.50 on aimsurplus. They really aren't that expensive.

My 68 tula kit. I also got sone WC mags for my Razorback 1911 and some VZ Grips for my Hi Power.
I've got some Trijicon Night Sights for the Hi Power on back order as well as a surefire 300 scout on backorder.

I plan on selling my Sig Mosquito soon and buying a SW22 Victory. I held one at academy the others day and I love it twice as much as I did when I saw it at shotshow

Also I'll be cerakoting my Hi Power Midnight Blue here pretty soon.

I don't get the love for this thing. It's literally just a S&W 22A in a different color and without the stupid rail on top. The grip is weirdly shaped, and the trigger isn't any better than a Buck Mark. What's so great about it?

For comparison.

The price on plinking 10mm has only just recently started to come down and be more available. For a long time, you could only even get cheap PPU 10mm once in a blue Moon, and even when you could find it, there was no guarantee what price it would be. Since the next step up in price was the Remington/PMC/Federal stuff that retailed in the $30-40 per box range, they could practically charge whatever they liked for the PPU, from $19-26 a box. Now, I'm finally seeing it hang around in stock for more than a few days at a time, and the price has settled around the $17.50-18 a box range, online. That's really not so bad at all, and makes me want to get another 10mm pistol. Unfortunately, there aren't a whole lot of options.

Is it just paint? Can it be removed with thinner or something similar? I really hate shit like that on guns. "Read owners manual.", "Warning: This thing really does pew pew bullets.", and import marks. Wanna brand every bastard responsible for all the defaced military surplus in this country.
>>
>>29494196
My bet is you can't afford more than a box at a time either.
>>
Too lazy to take a picture, bought a Kriss Vector

That's what I call a great deal. How's the trigger?

This, I have a shitty crossman CO2 revolver which I use with pellets against a phone book in my living room. I blast paper plates with my Great Grandfathers pumpmaster 760 in my back yard. That thing has been chugging since he bought it in the 80s for discrete pest control when he retired.
