I've heard some people here saying things like reliability of Kalashnikovs, stopping power of .45 etc are memes. Could someone tell me what exactly do they mean with this? How are they memes?

AKs are shitty in every way compared to the AR-15. And 9mm now has comparable stopping power to .45 ACP, because of this, there's no point to other pistol calibers like .40 S&W, .357 SIG, .45 G.A.P., and 10mm Auto anymore. The only upside to .45 ACP nowadays is that it's a great caliber when shooting suppressed.

Most of the experts hide behind anon status, very few are trips. It will be good to keep that in mind if you stay long here. I'm no expert, but certain topics will have a good knowledge-base. Most are just shitposting, though.
