Ladies and Gentlemen, this is what a retarded poster looks like.
Head lovely things about the CZ P-01
M&P Shield is pretty god tier. A bit snappy, you'll have to practice with it to hit anything, and the trigger is long but not to heavy. Basically like every other CC rifle on the market. It's plan b if you can't get pic related.
Im totally sold on my shield
but go with what your comfortable and competent shooting
>>29490582
I got a shield and after shooting my friends walther ccp I really wish I had gotten that instead. I can get groups 2-3 times smaller with the ccp vs the shield.
I think im going to trade it in and get a ccp.
Glock brand glock 19. I have ahot the vp9 meh
Walther PPS

Steyr C-A1
>>29490582
Makarov. Spent money on ammo
I like my Glock 36, the original Glock Brand Glock single-stack.
This is mine...xd mod 2...9mm
>>29490610
A Chiappa rhino is not compact and revolvers are outdated 19 century crap.

"grip zone"... who the hell thought that was a good idea? does the barrel say "shooty zone"?
>>29493757
Who cares what it says on grip...it shoots great and has good ergonomics! !!
H&K fanboy here. USP Compact comes in 9mm Luger (9x19 Para) and .40 S&W
Picked my .40 up new at 700, see them used for $500.
>>29493774
yeah thats a good point, I almost got that gun but I just cant stand the grip text. personal preference and all that.
>>29490582
For what purpose?

trash

Oh, its this post again.
Walther PPS M2 if you can find it
I shot a PPS M1 a bit and liked it but I don't like paddle magazine release also that backstrap safety thing is a little iffy for me. But the M2 fixes both problems, currently saving up for that.

I'll toss a Sig 320 into the ring, solid gun in 4 different sizes with a few different grip sizes for each. If you can't find one to fit your hand, you are legally deemed a mutant in 36 states.

Just got back from the range with mine. also my CCW.

OP dont listen to these trolls.
The VP9 is really nice. It's HK, so you can't really go wrong with an HK, though HK's first striker fired 9mm wasn't really that good... I honestly don't know if the VP9 has been out long enough to have went through it's paces.
>>29490597 This guy isn't wrong. The more I look at handguns, the more I like 10mm. Wish it were a little more common. But, it is one HELL of a round! Though they do have that 9mm ammo that will penetrate soft body armor....
With all of that being said, go look for yourself. That is going to be the deciding factor for you really. We could tell you all day what is what. But basically, if you get any decent name brand handgun ( one of the well known manufactures ), you're going to get a good gun. I have Springfield ( XD's, XDM's XDS', 1911's ), Glocks, HK's, FN's.. Each one has something I like, and something I don't. It is really going to boil down to personal preference.
>>29490582
you have a 9mm and a 40 there.
40 has significantly more recoil if you are a new shooter.
Most ranges have a try a caliber fee where you can go shoot as many pistols in 1 caliber that you like. You just have to buy the ammo from them to put through their rentals.
Also bring you own ear pro and eye pro. they will rent you some but they always are gross.

>The VP9 is really nice.
it is. but its not a compact.
all hks are really nice but hes looking more at the p30 size.
Walther pps gen 1 - slim and easy to carry , great little gun. Can pick from 3 different size mags that change how long the grip is . Only downside is single stack so 6 to 8 round capacity
>>29495609
" compact " is a relative term. If they dude is 6'5 and 250, a 1911 could be considered " compact " lol. I know the VP9 isn't compact, just throwing out suggestions :)
Anyone own/have experience with a P923 or P238?
Might be my daily.
>>29494538
Havent had a chance to shoot the CCP but for what it is, I have no complaints on the PPS m2. Been completely reliable so far and easy to shoot, take down, etc. It's definitely a solid contender for single stack 9s.
M&P9 or glock 19/17. Any other option is wrong.
>>29493774
Looks like a nerf gun
