Whats the practicality of knives with knuckle guards?
I can imagine they would be useful for the one time you may get into a knife fight but impractical for every other use, and even then you would have to be able to thread your fingers in at a moments notice.

you really don't wanna be dropping that thing for the other guy to use in a knife fight. They're just to make sure you don't lose the knife. Used much the same way a karambit hole allows you to retain the knife.
