IMO the first two thirds of the film are outstanding and the last part so over the top Ramboish that it levels the movie down to average. There are a number of inaccuracies that will upset autists, but personally I highly appreciate that they took old tanks out of museums.
Also liked the moral ambivalence that showed that both Germans and Americans are dehumanized by war. Even goes so far to differentiate between SS soldiers, which is quite rare for American films.
The last scene was bad, I found it stupid that the Germans couldn't hit the tank a single time with all the panzerfausts. Other than that, it was okay.
Some other tank movies are "The Beast" which is set in the Soviet war in Afganistan and "Sahara" with Humphrey Bogart, WWII classic.
Also, if you are into fantasy movies you could try the Battle of the Bulge, where both the Germans and the Americans face off against each other in the Belgian desert in american made tanks.

The "battles" were laughable, especially the first one and then later the city fight. No regards for realism or tactics. They thought that one vintage tank was enough to satisfy that requirement, and they can go comic book Hollywood on the rest.

If anyone cares, I was a Tanker in the Army and deployed to Iraq, so my opinion might matter to you, it might not. Whatever.

Even at that late stage in the war (April 1945), only experienced crews were allowed to touch a Tiger. An experienced crew would have no doubt destroyed every one of those Shermans in the allotted time in the open like that. I know it's just a movie, but that scene was particularly hard to watch, knowing it was an actual Tiger, and the fact it was taking so long for it to load, barely moved, sat out in the open, and missed almost every shot. Not to mention it hit Fury in the side armor, with no effect.

Pure hollywood garbage, but again, it's a movie, and like someone else pointed out, you could maybe explain it away by saying "oh it was the end of the war, and they were idiots by that time" but infact, the leaders were mostly all hardened combat veterans at that point and were smart enough to know how to stay alive. Any sensible commander would not have engaged a tank without the proper means to take it out. My first thought would have been to distract in the front with harassing fire, while a small panzerfaust team circles around to fire one up their ass.
Overall I enjoyed it, but the Tiger scene and the finale really took the movie from a 10/10 to a 5/10 for me.

I enjoyed it a lot, one of my favorite recent war movies. Thought the portrayal of the tank was badass and offers pretty good footage for a tank movie.
