Can we have a thread devoted to soldiers wearing gas masks and/or protective chemsuits? Preferably modern, but older black & white photos are okay too.

chemical splash goggles have slits all around the edges. They're not intended for anything airbone/gas/particulate.

Do you even officer, bro?
Does anyone here know if you can use czech m10 filters in an m17, or if there is any way to get newer filters for an m17?

Does anyone know how good these masks are? I fucking hate most gas masks since the eyes are usually too small for my liking.

No.
The GP-5 was produced from 1962 to 1989.

I own an MCU 2/P and can confirm the full visor is god-tier.
I have an S6 mask somewhere at my parents' place, nice piece of kit, large eyes, comfy. I like the inflatable tube around the inside that ensures an airtight fit on the face. Some other masks only achieve that by strapping them tightly to your face.
