I literally had a dream that I acquired an arsenal I was showing off last night.
I had a M9 beretta, a mossberg 500, an M&P 15, a k98, and a garand.
It was a very good dream.

Rate me /k/:

>Izhvesk M91/30 (1943)
Gonna inlet the stock, get a bent bolt, then add a PU scope for muh Enemy at the Gates.

>Marlin Model 60 SS
Gramps passed it down to me before he died. Put a 3-9x40 on it and it's a perfect hunter.

>Remington 870 Wingmaster
I've got both an 18.5" and a 26" barrel for her, got it for my 16th birthday. Gonna buy a +2 tube here.

>Springfield M1 Garand (1945)
I'm happy the way she is, extremely accurate with irons. Bought an adjustable gas plug too in case I want to take it hunting or something.

>Romanian SAR-3
I wanted an AK in 5.56 and it was half the price of a Arsenal. Mostly barebones, I threaded the barrel, added a light, a red dot, made it 922r compliant then bought a bunch of mags.

>Walther P99 AS
They always fit my hand great and I really dig the double action so I bought one in 9mm.

>Walther P1 (1965)
Chopped it down to mimic a P38k, had it cerakoted, and use it for carry since I'm a special snowflake.

Currently building an M16A1 / C7 clone as my first AR and am also considering adding an Auto Ordnance M1911, S&W Model 586 6", PTR-91 GI, and a Century Arms UC-9 for an SBR project all over the next while. Any suggestions?

Being a homeowner isn't exactly the cats ass if you're not a richfag.

>paying that loan for 20-30 years
>pay property taxes every year

sorry to hear that.
I bought a house last year and it's been a dream come true. haven't added to the collection much but it's so nice to go outside and shoot whenever the hell I feel like it. neighbors all like guns and shooting too.
out in the boonies land and property tax is cheap. 15 year loan at 2.5% interest and haven't had to make any major repairs yet.
>>
>>29474564
Very unique, I'd say put a red dot and a light on your AK and take a better pic ext time because it seems kinda chaotic there. 7/10

>>29475108
You have lots of guns but not a lot of impressive guns. Like the Kar98 though, 6/10.

>>29475159
Nice picture and nice choices, a shotgun and a full-powered rifle would make it perfect. 9/10

>>29475353
Old guns are just as functional as new guns but with not handgun or modern rifles you lose points. 5/10.

>>29477569
I really want to like this because its displayed well, utilitarian, and snowflakey but you still have really limited uses. Fuck it, 7/10.

>>29477737
I like it, really mixing it up. Need a double stack handgun but other than that you're golden. 8/10

>>29477756
I like this, you've got practical guns and collectible guns and tools that will do the job. Missing a shotgun though, 9/10

>>29477790
See, this is an excellent collection. I don't know why but I'm really drawn to it, you've got a little bit of everything and its displayed so well. 10/10, bravo.

>>29477945
They're ok, just another copy-paste Glock copy that isn't a Sigma this time we promise please don't sue us. Alternatively a Walther PPX is in the similar price range.

Just get one. It's awesome.

Like the other guy said, a .308 could be good. With a Garand Gear plug you'll be pretty safe for anything 150 and 168 grain.

Plus if you reload you'll never have an issue feeding it.

It really isn't. It's the one I'm least accurate with, and capacity is a bit weak compared to others, for it's size...but it was the most expensive, since that's probably all you're going by.

I keep it around because there's a lot I do like about it, and I'm working on getting more accurate with it (seriously, minute-of-barn doesn't start to describe it), but also because it's not that easy to sell since the market is full of used USP's right now.

I raped the collectors value for the most part. Not that I care, I'm taking that rifle to the grave with me.

Basically all my shellac flaking off all over the rifle was driving me crazy. So I sanded it down and used some generic wood stain on it. I like how it turned out.

I know that feel. I'm going to try to get one as soon as the ATF processes my C&R license (CA fag here). The only question is: should I get the special grade or the service grade?

Service Grade
>$730
>good barrels
>original stock
>some wear and tear
>3-6 months for delivery

Special Grade
>$1030
>new barrel
>refinished parts
>new stock
>comes in .308 and .30-06 (would probably get .30-06, because come on, it's a Garand)
>30-60 day delivery

I like the history for the original stock and barrel, but I don't know if I want to wait up to half a year to get it, and I'm worried that I'd get a dud barrel.

On the other hand, I like the idea of owning something practically new (though I'm not crazy about the CMP cartouche on the stock), with a guaranteed perfect barrel. I'm fine with spending the extra money if it's worth it.

Marble Arms peep tang sight, and not at all
http://www.marblearms.com/standard-peep-tang-sight.html
Lyman also makes one, as both companies have since the 19th century. I think the Marble is the more well made one. It also has both windage and elevation adjustment knobs, while the Lyman only has one for elevation.

It's honestly my favorite of all the sights and optics I've used, but I'd be wary of putting one on something with heavier recoil depending on how close you hold it to your eye.

I absolutely love it. It's just the best feeling 22lr pistol I've found by a long shot. It's small, but well weighted and solid feeling like it's not a 22lr handgun at all. One of the HUGE aspects I like about it is the ease of taking apart and cleaning. There's just nothing to it.
I'd thought about buying others like the mark 2/3 and 22/45 for a long time and was getting serious, but after holding the sr22 just once I knew that was going to be mine.
I definitely prefer it to the mark series I'd wanted to get for so long, even the 22/45 with the better feeling grip(to me).

I love how nobody had grey AK furniture until I started posting my family and linking to where I bought it from.

Now fucking everyone has grey wood.

I guess im just a trendsetter senpai.

What should my next gun be?
Im thinking about adding a 1911 or a different subcompact to the mix.

Yes, you are correct, none of those images are in THIS thread. However they ARE out there.

Heres at least one anon saying he has it.

To bbq honestly, fampai, I think I might be the only other one with that furniture. I tend to avoid /akg/ for the most part so I could be wrong, but the only pics I've seen here that I can think of were the one you posted^, and the 3 or so that I throw around on occasion. Pic related is most common, also have one of it on my couch, and the one side by side w/ the M&P. Any others are older family photos, so you'd notice (mostly) the same guns alongside it.

And yes, I'm the same anon that asked you where you got yours months back, and I specifically bought it because of your picture, because fuck me that's goddamn sexy. But I really can't think of any others posting pictures other than us...

I love the Nylon 66. The Seneca green models, like mine, are a little rarer from what I understand.

I've been kicking around the idea of getting an AR, but they just don't do a whole lot for me. I would consider building one out of an A1 parts kit, though.

>>
>>29497666
How are you liking that P-64?
If you're not turned off by it pretty much being the worst weapon Radom ever cranked out, I strongly recommend the P-83. Everything folks love about Eastern European milsurp (crazy ammo, nice steel frame, balance, reliability, historicity) plus all the basic features of a modern Western weapon (manual slide release, redundant safeties, good trigger, loaded chamber indication which granted the 64 has, better hammer), which you generally do not find on Com-Bloc stuff. And it's orders of magnitude better than its predecessor for the same price at J&G.

Don't quite know the full story behind it, since I bought the shotgun (sans heatshield) from someone on Gunbroker who acquired it from an Estate Sale. It was more than likely well-used, since there's issues with the slide not unlocking after firing, but it was pretty well taken care of since the metal and the wood look brand new.

>>29497932
>J&G Shill

Just kidding m8. I was actually debating a P-64 or a P-83 as my first handgun. Luck would have it the week before my 21st birthday Classic had their sale on P-64s and I would've been crazy not to.

I like it alright, I got the reduced power mainspring and a stronger recoil spring, so the DA isn't atrocious anymore. Biggest issue I have is that my hands are too big for the thing and my hand is like squished between the trigger guard and the little spur on the magazine. If I really want to get nitpicky the damn thing can beat your hand up after 50 rounds, but that's only an issue if you can't tolerate someone speaking against your opinions

I love the 64, I collect Mak variants, but I bought an 83 expecting it to just be slightly different and was impressed beside myself. I do like how flat the 64 is.

Here's the new acquisition I was talking about. It's a whisper fusion pro 22cal. I figured I'd be at work again before I got a chance to post it.
This will be my permascoped air rifle for hunting from now on. I can't figure out any concrete velocities I'm getting yet, still trying to google and find some info there, but I believe it a bit under 900fps. But this thing absolutely rocks my rimfire spinner targets compared to the 177, it's obvious that there's a ton more energy.

Photography protip: if you want the whole gun to be in focus while doing macro photography, put your camera on a tripod and close down your f-stop. Your photo should really have been taken around the f/18-22 range. I understand some people like narrow depth of field for portrait-like shots, but this is just obscene. Most of your gun is out of focus.

I don't do a lot of gun photography. That photo was something I took for a Gunbroker sale. All I can tell you about is *photography*. The same principles apply from normal photography to gun photography. Even in the photos you posted, the depth of field is deep enough to show the entire gun and background items in focus, so I don't really know what your problem is.
