Oh, by the way OP, if you are reading this please try to get your money back as soon as possible.
It's basically a 6920, which is pretty good as far as AR15s go.
I don't like the idea of the monolithic upper. The biggest selling point.of the AR is that you can change shit out at will.
Thus I would have gone with the 6920/SOCOM.
So why the hate for 16inch gas? Is they a negative effect?

I had a Daniel Defense V11 and traded it for an M&P sport. Went from a Trijicon Acog to a Barska Red dot off Amazon. Couldn't be happier.
