Yep. I think I hit the 'smeared shit' look a lot better this time. I think applying normal paint with a boot sock gives it a better look than spray paint, and I also like the colors I used this time a lot more. They're less bright, and that was my biggest beef with the rustoleum job.
On the downside, it's still tacky as hell, so I have to wait for it to cure for a while before I start running around in the woods and getting the paint nice and worn.

If you want to shell out $2500 for a 25-year-old used firearm because it's got le H-und-K stamped on it, then yeah. Otherwise, for that money you could have one of the custom shops like PCS build you a brand-new G3 clone w/ paddle mag release and all.
The Zenith Z41 has a block pin in the magazine well to prevent it from accepting standard G3 magazines; just the neutered 10-rounders it needs for import. You can grind the tab off, but then you're technically in violation of 922r.
