Would these little fuckers make a decent addition to homemade ballistic armor? I'm starting to think they have superpowers.

>>
No, but they WILL give you leprosy
>>
>>29456131
probably not much harder than bone
>>
>>29456193
I've survived like every fucking disease on this gay earth, plus who fuck is to say I will live 5 more years for the symptoms to surface, especially if I fight people with ballistic dillo armor
>>
>>29456193
this is important to those who dont know
>>
>>29456193
I forget, does he have to get his hand amputated?
>>
>>29456226
How did that end btw, did Lepernon keep his hand?
>>
>>29456131
Trust me, Armadillos are far from a laughing matter.
>>
>>29456131
A knife does the trick.

My buddy use to bail out of our work truck and chase/stab the shit out of these. Was funny then, seems fucky now that i think about it.
>>
>>29456229
>>29456230
Tests came back positive for Leprosy and ans such the hand will have to go if the anti-biotics aren't effective enough to stop it.

I'm starting to be at peace with that news, but it did upset me a great deal to think I might lose my hand at the ripe old age of 22.
>>
>>29456131
won't stop .22
>>
>>29456246
>>29456248
.22did stop the 22.

Shit, man, sorry to hear that.

As >>29456279 says

I suppose the saying "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" applies.
>>
>>29456131
I wonder how we could weaponize leprosy
>>
>>29456303
Sacrifice a guy to infect, provide cover fire until he can cuddle the enemy
>>
>>29456325
I was thinking more of making a gas that spread leprosy.

It would certainly clog up enemy medical logistics and take out a large number of enemies and possibly even spread.

Only issue is that it would make it a biological weapon. Which the word itself raises dubios ethical implications.
>>
>>29456303
Or, if dealing with muslims, give medium rare dillo steaks to the nearest ten year old boy, after a while the dicks of the whole settlement fall off. Effective counteragent to muslim overpopulation
>>
>>29456355
If we're being serious, I heard the symptoms don't surface until about 5 years later. Maybe >>29456297 can confirm this?
>>
>>29456404
it depends.

I definitely saw Ive seen footage state that on the leprosy thread. But people can be effected differently by diseases and show a reaction to the disease rather than a symptom
>>
>>29456404
I can trace my possible first exposure to an incident 7 years ago.
>>
>>29456423
Yeah but the guy who had leper said that he was served armadillo meat that was red in the center later in the thread. I'll have to admit I don't have any medical knowledge though.
>>
>>29456303
Slow your roll antman
>>
>Leprosy.
>>
>>29456131

No shit, I live in Georgia and had a .380 XTP bounce right the fuck off an armordildo and go zipping off into the woods.

It did leave a big bleeding dent in its shell, and the damn thing ran around in circles making this horrible buzzing noise until I grabbed a maul and beat it to death. Felt really bad for putting it through so much suffering when I'd meant to kill it in 1 clean shot.

Maybe GA dillos have extra thick shells or something.
>>
>>29456279
You say that but really how many people knew that dillos carried that shit.
>>
>>29457928

Plenty of people around here know that. Honestly the danger of them tunneling under your foundation and fucking w your house is way worse than any Hansen's Disease they might carry
>>
>>29456246
Godspeed leperanon.

Don't worry too much, your waifu will love you no matter how many limbs you lose!

And you'll get to attach all sorts of cool shit to the nub.
>>
>>29456246
You god damn idiot, I really do hope the best for you though in all honesty. Good luck man.

Maybe since you are so young, your insurance will pay for a cool prosthetic hand.
>>
Anyone else at first read it as dildo? Please tell me I'm not the only one.
>>
>>29458477
Sorry Valerie, you're the only one.
>>
>>29458477
It's ok Valerie. I read it that way too
>>
>>29457959
>>29458071
He should get a prosthetic with rails.
>>
>>29459236
Great suggestion, Clinton.
>>
>>29459236
Thats a pretty cool idea actually.
>>
>>29457928

I've been told that since like. Being 12.
>>
>>29456131
Why the fuck is /k/ so obsessed with armadillos?
>>
>>29459336
They're walking tanks.
>>
>>29459372
nah, they're walking biological weapons.
>>
>>29456131
I read that as "Are dildos fucking invincible?"
>>

They're tough, but even a 9mm will punch right through them without issue.

Dillo control in the backyard has been the only practical use for my weapon light so far.
>>
>>29459417
kinda, you can get infected if you make contact with infected biological material via the orifice's. So if we make gas with the virulent agent, we can infect a large number of enemy combatants. It wouldn't even be used to take soldiers out of the battlefield indefinitely, only to overwhelm enemy medical logistics in the long run.

Try treating 4000+ soldiers for Leprosy during a war.
