Nice what size are those?
>>29456026
Small reg
>>29456045
Damn those are in good condition, I have 3 shirts and one pair of pants. Sadly it's a bitch to find pants in the same size
>>29456053
I recall the trousers and boonie hats being popular surplus after the Gulf
Not to mention however many sets we gave away to the Iraqis and little European nations and such.
My goal is to get one of those Coat, Special Forces, Airborne. I've seen a few but they always sell for tons.
>>29456075
I wish M65 was made into a 6 color desert pattern. And aren't those coats the same but one has the said special forces airborne patches on them?
>>29456091
It was actually the closest to a 6 color M65/RDF coat there ever was. There were 1972 DBDUs but the Coat Special Forces Airborne and matching trousers were another experimental uniform
Here's one heavybulker has for sale

Are the pants med reg? I got a few shirts coming. (Got a few of my friends each a shirt) Just need to find a deal on pants that fit me now. Need to find boonie now too.
Good mail dail for me today, something extra special will find its way into my hands with this morning's post.

So that BW Parka I snagged came today, turns out the sizing estimate is right for once. Fucking surp sizing, how does it work?
Anybody interested in a small BW parka below market value?
Where get US night desert camo?
>>29457038
Surp sizing is one of the great mysteries of the universe. While I was making the parka I basically discovered that whatever a sample comes out as the company designates as a medium, and grades up and down from it. But there's no standard size for the sample, it can be almost any size.
>get on 4chan in the morning to lurk milsurp thread as usual

My first surp pick up. Going to start collecting. Figured need to have a flecktarn parka for basics. Should be here Monday. Do you guys keep the Germany flag on if wearing out and about, I'm Polish Canadian so kind of a clash.
What would you guys reccommend next? Thinking Belgian jigsaw.
>>29458258
Belgian jigsaw is a good pick. I've just started collecting as well and like you my first two patterns were flecktarn and jigsaw

>>29458598
Yeah, I managed to find a few of the Russian copy and some M05 itself but I'm not willing to invest that much yet. Personally I'd love the 'frost' version of M05 but I've never seen any go for sale.

howdy lads, anybody got a large ALICE pack with the frame they'd be willing to sell me?
One of the items I have coming in the mail.
>>29461032
Hello Tina, may i consider you getting a MEDIUM ALICE pack? If you were to get a large one, you'd want to throw in your essentials and a bunch of other items that are just fillers or extras. Some advice my dad gave to me when he was in the gulf war, because when he led people in his squad (back when he was a 1st lieutenant, some of his soldiers had large ALICE packs and put random junk in there like candy bars and whatnot. they got too tired and my dad made them throw out the useless junk so it won't slow them down.
>>29461095
thanks Harriet, I'm going backpacking across Euroland before I join the Army so I wanted something that wouldn't be a pain to schlep around, and if Medium's the way to go than so be it. My gear consists of sleeping bag, one man tent, some camera equipment then just extra set of clothes and jacket. Maybe a sack of rice for cheapness's sake. (inb4 gook) A medium will fit all that right?
P.S. does anyone have a map of Euro gun manufacturer's HQ's? I wanna go pay my respects in person to Glock and HK at least.

The lighter colored pair, of pants I have no clue about. The cuffs on it are elasticized, and the internal cloth cuts are a completely different color than regular fleck trousers, so either it's from a different country or it's an early pattern or something. The tag on it is toast, unfortunately. (Sorry for shitty lighting.)
The jacket was made in 2011, if I'm not mistaken, so definitely not early model.

Tri-Color was issued after they stopped issuing the Night Parka. I think, not positive.
They started phasing out choco and desert night with tri-color. they probably realize that the desert night garments weren't effective, for use or packing. so they went back? I have no clue just my guess.
That thing is fresh as fuck btw.
