PKM thread? How does it even?
>feeds right, ejects left.
>no handguard (can't shoot well standing up.
>ejects hard as fuck so even if you could shoot it standing up, the shells are going to cut the shit out of your arm.
>none disintegrating belt
How is this thing supposed to be used? The only real way I can see it just in a posted a position. There can't be people actually running around and using this thing effectively.
TL;DR: bass akwards gun

>There can't be people actually running around and using this thing effectively.
it's a belt-fed gpmg with a reliable action
people have been effective machine gunners with far less
stop treating extra features like disentigrating belt and handguard as some kind of holy grail of essential firearm technology
they're not
>>29449885
By running around I mean moving. Like there is no way some guy armed with this would be able to provide accurate fire on the move.
>>29449885
also nobody but arabs hipfires gpmg's, so why you would devote 2 of your 4 points to this retarded sentiment is beyond me

>Like there is no way some guy armed with this would be able to provide accurate fire on the move
yeah that's absolutely what belt fed machine guns are for
you really got infantry fighting figured out dude
have fun with your thread
>>29449885
But a handgaurd at the least is near a necessity. Hip firing an LMG does not sound like a good time.

search "Meждyнapoдный Учeбный Цeнтp Cил Cпeциaльнoгo Haзнaчeния" on facebook, they should have a video on their page of some guys oper8in with a PKM on the move
Do we have any /k/omandos that even fired them? I feel like it would have to be the small number of Slav or Eastern Euro anons.

I fired a few bursts through one at a Rifle Dynamics AK builder class. I really didn't have enough time behind to compare it to let's say a 240, but it was very light and it sounded cool

It's literally an upside-down AK action with nothing changed.
Not a big deal with feeding/ejecting.
Firing a GPMG standing is retarded unless you've just been ambushed and even then you'd be going prone. You can use the bipod as a handguard if it's 100% necessary to fire from an underplayed manner.
Non-disintegrating belt is honestly a non-issue.
>it ejects hard and will cut your arm
What are long sleeves?
>>29450480
*undeployed
>>29450030
Isn't that a pkp not a pkm?
>>29450149
Would you say it was ergonomic or fun to use anon?
>>29449825
>>no handguard (can't shoot well standing up.
are you fucking kidding me
>>29449825
It's very light for a 7.62 MG. Its probably one of the best 7.62 MGs for "Running around"
If you have ever used the FN MAG in combat then you should know what I mean.
>>29450694
I only shot it in the prone but if shooting a mmg isn't fun to anyone they must have some vanilla ass personality.
>>29450480
>non disintegrating belt isn't an issue
What is a snag hazard?
>>29452515
If it's in sections of 25 round belts then its not that big of a deal
>>29450030
That's a nice sniper rifle.
