What would you be hunting with the handgun you want though? You said earlier it was for hunting. I made a real recommendation with the Jericho, they make them in .45 acp as well, other then being a little slow .45 packs a punch.

If you're really dead-set against a revolver, then the only thing i can think of that features the kind of power you need against wildlife would be a 1911 with a .460 rowland conversion.
