Because of the war in afghanistan lasting 10+ years, there are european vets with a lot of combat deployments as well.
I know about soldiers just going on as many deployments as they possibly can. And the more elite the unit is, the less personell they have and the same guys get sent over and over again. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a european vet has 10 combat deployments.
