I'm looking into buying a Cz P09 any objections or anything enter I can get for its price?

It was my first handgun, no regrets what so ever. The back straps are nice, the trigger is nice, and the sights work fine

Imo the slide takes some getting used to. Not much to grab if your trying to slingshot the slide or press check.

Avoid buying the older ones with the "duty" moniker. They had a few issues.
Other than that, goes bang and 19+1.
Internals are very unlike cz as well. No tool marks.
Love my P-07. The grip angle and action makes it feel like a polymer frame 1911.
I got the 07 for CC but if you're bigger or not carrying it shouldn't matter. They started saying a mag only holds 15 instead of 16, but you really can get 16+1 after you've broken the mags in.

Nothing wrong with duty except for polymer sights in my view, which of course you can replace with what you save. Later serial number dutys have lanyard loop removed like the gen 2s
There were some reports of frame bulge but if I recall those are isolated to serial numbers beginning with "A", and I've had a real hard time even finding one of those.

I like mine a lot, but slightly regret not getting a shadow after playing with all of em that my 3 gun regular group use. Ah well, I'll upgrade to a shadow 2 once they're available. The lack of firing pin block and the shorter sear bed make a pretty big difference in trigger feel, even after all of the CGW parts I put in my P-09.
Still a really good shooter and not really holding me back at all (yet).

I know my p07 was a sunofabitch to get 16 into when I first bought her (first handfun) but now she is smooth and broken in. Like a good whore ought to be

Had this gun a long time with no issues, but still was worried. She's perfect

The fact that it takes special mags and the price is a bit of a cock block, but if you like it buy it. Other recommendations are cz 75, Beretta 92fs, Canik TP9, or Glock brand Glock.

Get an SP-01, genuine CZ quality in a durable new full size design, even available in poly and tac models.
I've heard a few of the other new CZs use plastic guide rods, so do some digger and find out what you can before you invest.
