They were navy so they lacked the intestinal fortitude to fight back. Therefor, their story was swept under the rug due to lack of interest. Had it been a boat load of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc Infantry Division soldiers, all hell would have broken out and the headline would read something pertaining to dead Iranians floating about.
