Colt single action army las pistol. Revolver styling returns to allow for enough energy storage using single use capacitors instead of shells. Cocking the hammer primes the circuits producing a high pitched wine.

Also "The trigger can detect when the safety is on" does not sound like a feature you should need to advertise.

And that's why I love it. It's the most beautiful semi-trainwreck of a game I've ever seen. A mess of features and ideas that honestly shouldn't work, but they somehow turn out okay despite basically being slapped together almost at random.

No thanks omae, all those windows make it way to easy for someone with a high powered rifle to geek ya. I'll take my sewer hideout any day. Smell takes some getting used to, but cops don't patrol down there, I've got plenty of escape routes(at least three of them via fanboat)and if anyone is waiting there to ambush me, I've rigged the roof with remote trigger det packs that I can use to bring the whole place down on top of them. Sure I'd lose some of my gear, and my classical music collection(took me years and hundreds of creds to get physical copies of all those Anthrax albums), but I'll live to rebuild(and have a bitchin fanboat ride).
So, /k/?

4-inch thick, polymer-laminated, transparent aluminum will stop anything man-portable and the penthouses for higher level staff is miles deep into the corporate zones, so sneaking anything bigger is damn near impossible. That, and only buildings high enough to shoot from are the exec suites, and those babies make Fort Knox look like a roach motel.
>Escape routes
Armored, freefall elevator cars are standard once you get to a certain pay grade, and they lead right to the motorpool/sewers/etc. Worse comes to worse I can just jump out the windows, the mods they stuck in me will break the fall but it'll void the warranty on my knees and spine.
>Gear
One of the advantages to working for a corp; they have all your shit on file so even if you lose all of it they can refit you in a flash, though personal shit might be harder to replace. Thing is, they usually have mutts on the payroll to go hunting for shit for the execs, which means if you want to replace whatever collectible you lost it's just a quick phone call to the reqs dept.

As someone who plays CP2020, his material is extremely unbalanced, and often times makes no sense. I highly suggest /k/ read through his "interlock unlimited" rulebook for some good laughs.
He legitimately thinks that if you put a stock on a pistol, it should be able to shoot with the same accuracy and distance as a rifle.
Also, after talking with him online, and talking to people who have played in games with him online, I've found that he is a massive that guy. Moreso than one would assume by looking though his site.

Best Cyberpunk 2020 is vanilla Cyberpunk 2020. Only the basic book and that's it.
That said it still has some issues. Caseless rifle ammo does more damage than cased ammo, but pistol ammo does the same damage regardless if it's cased or not. All handguns have the same range (good luck hitting anything at 50m with a Saturday Night Special).

>step out of house on wrong side of town
Do I have another door that leads to the right side of town? Is my smack dab in the middle of a dividing line? Or do I just live in the bad part of town and you're bad at sentences? What is the "wrong" side of town anyway? Like.... high crime, or is it just full of incorrect roadsigns and people that voted for losing presidents?
>rain water carries thing into the air
that's not how rain works.
>you hold a powerful tool, the dim neon light showing off the faint lettering on the receiver
According to this horrid writing, I am apparently holding some some sort of reflection of neon light in my hands. Skipping over the how/why this is happening, I'll jump straight to, "what receiver are you talking about?"
>You give it a quick glance before stuffing it away, take a final drag off your cigarette, then head off for one more job.
I glance at my neon light reflection I've somehow put in my hands, and now "stuff it away". Where? My ass? Did I shove the light up my ass? head off to where? which direction? one more job? what kind of job?
best I can tell, I'm some sort of magical neon light repairman who lives in the a house that's in the exact center of town. I was heading out to put some light into a sign, so I shoved it up my ass, but low and behold, i stepped out the door and now I'm in the wrong side of town. I'll have to walk all the way around to do it. I'm likely going to be late now, so this is my last job.
>>29384898
Yes. Noir films were made mostly in the 1940s and 50s, colt python didn't come out until 1955.
Most common options are:
Colt official police;
Colt detective special;
Colt 1903 pocket hammerless;
Colt 1911;
Smith and wesson model 10;
Smith and wesson model 36 (from 1950 onward)
Stuff like that. Especially the 1903, and snub nosed revolvers.
>>29387511
Download the blueprints from some dark corner of the matrix while avoiding the MatCops. Burn the plans on a data hip and give it to your techie buddy so he can feed them to his automated CNC. Get the rest of the parts from some Mexican fixer, and the ammo from a Chinese contact. That's how things work in Night City.
