Is there a reason we haven't started using clones in the military? It presumably costs huge amounts of money to train a DEVGRU/MARSOC tier 1 operator or similar black ops soldier, so why not just train one and clone him a bunch of times to save on training costs, instead of having to train a whole bunch of people?

Clones are not the same as copping a single person like a peace of paper through a fax machine. a Clone is simply a genetically identical organism to the parent organism. Dolly, the first cloned Sheep had to be grown from a single cell, and grow up at normal Sheep speed, but she was already at the genetic age 6 when she was born. She had a much shorter life than predicted.
Cloning isn't magic, it's science, and we are trying to figure it out but it's not some fucking thing we can Clone Wars it.
