I picked up some magnum rifle plates for my .223 rifles that are good to go at 100 yards. The pistol plates are good to go at 25 yards with up to .44 special, no magnum loads. I've heard people shooting them closer for handguns. 15 yards is probably the closest I'll have it. Not for my 9mm AR though, for my handguns. I'll definitely be wearing eye protection though.

Yeah. I won't pretend it's made in the US, but it's a $30 Japanese type 89 comp for an AR that performs well for the price. Also, mine's finish seems to be okay. No marring or inconsistencies. First time painting, just a fuckup. Looks better when I turned my flash off and innawoods, but I'll probably repaint it soon. Base layer is the actual rustoleum camouflage paint but that was the only color they had. I figured satin would look better than metalic. No matte. The short list for avoid includes polymer lowers, PTAC, DPMS stuff in 5.56, and carbine length gas on 16" barrels. Do your research.
Also I have a PTAC upper and it's never malfunctioned. But it shoots 3" groups at 100 yards, so you know. Your experience may vary. The part about my PTAC upper that bothers me is it has no dust cover or FA or brass deflector. But it was $170 for it with a BCG and CH because I got lucky. So whatever.

For my 1 handed swords I use 3/8"s square fiberglass, for my 2 handed swords I use 3/8s square doubled up, and now .75 hollow round fiberglass. I need to order more of the .75 hollow round stuff.

Used to play in the late 90's when I was in college. Our college offered a for-credit HEMA class and the instructor encouraged us to go whoop the local Dag guys' asses.

I need help.
First off, my country's gun license gets here in what should be a matter of weeks. And because I'm a reckless faggot with a hard-on for full-size rounds who likes to go all in, I'm gonna build me an AR-10.
Now, on top of never owning any gun before, I know almost zero about AR assembly, much less the differences between an LR308 pattern and a regular-ass AR-15.
I have shot other family member's guns before, but am noguns right now, this means the completed '10 will be my first fun.
Basically, if you have any links to video guides on assembly I could study, links on where to find good parts, what parts I need to get, or any other kind of info you'd be more privy to than myself, it's much appreciated. In all fairness, BHW barrels being polygonal instead of button rifled means they'll last a good while longer before there's significant accuracy degradation. They're also a good bit easier to clean.

It's a hybrid chamber. Allows you to safely shoot 5.56x45 NATO-spec ammo while retaining most of the things that make the .223rem chamber more accurate.
About its only real...drawback I guess? is that it's not as great for dedicated full auto use with 5.56-spec ammo. Doable, but you'll hit more malfs.

Not that I have seen. I picked the Royal Arms lower for the lack of an obvious rollmark. It isn't the most cleanly machined billet lower by any means, but the price is right. Weight is the same as a standard forged lower I believe.

I used shapes from this pattern I redrew and traced shapes onto 3m blue tape that was laid on top of wax paper to make DIY stencil shapes, then applied them to the pistol and painted.
black layer - tape off what needs to be black - dark green layer - tape off what needs to be OD...and so on.
You could probably repurpose a MARPAT stencil for CADPAT.

Yes, let's move the front sight onto a gasblock that is 1/4" lower than the upper rail so I have to make insane, probably not possible adjustments on my front sight to compensate.
