I know this is /k/'s least favorite thread, but have a twist:
Looking to get my first, but I have real small hands. Like really small. Small for a woman small. You could get about 4 quarters on my palm.
I would probably defer to something cheap and available like a beretta 9mm (whatever specific model is adopted by police, i know they're cheap in my state) but I've played with them at the range and it's a bit of a fuckin stretch for my hand to grip
Post your hands

Police typically use full size service pistols. If you gots baby hands, they're going to be uncomfortable. Check out any number of compact pistols, G26 or Walther PPS for example

Bersa Thunder .380 would probably be a good fit. Go to your lgs and see if they have one, finger fuck it, finger fuck yourself, post pics, and then purchase it.
Op is that you in the pic

Do it or atleast trim.
then paint your nails and put little "/k/"'s on them.

It's OK OP
I too have small woman hands and even smaller fingers. Look at the Polish p64. It fits my hand perfectly. Be warned though, it's only 6 shots and has snappy recoil that sucks.

+1 to this. Economic, reliable little gun. Wife is only 4'11" and loves it.
>Have moderately severe Marfan's
>Anything smaller than a Desert Eagle grip has my fingers overlapping uncomfortably
>Weak connective tissue means more than a few shots of anything over 9mm results in intense joint pain

The struggle is real. I know that feel, anon.
>>29331810
I was thinking of getting a custom oversized grip made but I'd need to extend the magazine well which would require either extended capacity or custom magazines.
>>29331587
try a ppq or vp9 with the small grip inserts. if not go for a single stack like the shield
>>29331816
Ever think about a revolver with wood grips?
A gp100 or something like that could have an oversized grip without impeding function

Trump?

My fingers are reasonably dextrous but they're not strong (exercise doesn't improve things, though it does stop degeneration, it's not the muscles, it's the links between them and the bone). Single or double action, I'd have difficulty cycling it. I'll have a talk to my gunsmith about how light the action could reasonably made. Thank you, I hadn't considered that a revolver would let me bypass that problem.

Double action so you don't have to manually cycle it
S&W makes 8 shot 357 pistols
>>29331963
The trigger pull of the double action is probably what he was talking about, it can be relatively heavy
>>29331936
That has potential. Thank you.
>>29331986
That was what I was talking about
>>29331789
>>29331963
Be said anything over a 9mm hurts after a few shots. A .357 would wreck him. Maybe a .22 magnum revolver?
>>29332115
The revolvers tend to be heavy enough that they negate a lot of the recoil but 38 special or 38+p can be used, depending on comfort level
I wonder how big the grip of the PMR 30 is, that could be OK for someone who is recoil sensitive if the grip were big enough
>>29331958
lmao
>>29332115
>>29332131
I can't express how grateful I am. It could be that a larger grip would make things less painful. I'll have a look at what's available.
