I have some.
I am an south west Washington forest. What should I be wearing.
>>29328946
I like their stuff.
>>29329071
My Mlok jacket should be arriving soon.
>>29329200
Should be getting Swedish sweaters and undershirts to flip.
Excited to hear about czech desert shirts.
>>29329200
Where are the bottom pockets on that shirt?
>>29329644
Oh shit those look fresh as fuck. Where exactly are we finding these?
Lend me a hand yeah? Trying to make one of these thangs, because I'm a loser and shit, but I'm struggling to do it in multicam. Help an autistic mspaintartist out? How2Multicam
>>29331018
Never done it myself but I thought you get the outline then put the print over and get rid of the edges then just hand paint the gear and other details in yourself.
>>29331145
Holy fuck that just made me feel incredibly stupid
>>29331018
Use any editing tool with multiple layers. Bottom layer is multicam, second layer is the template. Erase the second layer over anything that's camo.
Sorry, gonna be hard to MSPaint this. Also I'm on mobile so no template.

Yeah, Czech desert is pretty awesome.

Should I get British or Saffer DPM
>>29333092
Why would you get the grand-daddy of all the DPM patterns. Original british made.
>>29333092
What's a saffer?
>>29333109
South african.
>>29333107
Is this http://m.ebay.com/itm/252326874754 short-sleeved?

I don;t believe we do anything short sleeved, not even the desert sets.

Bout $20 for a jacket.
>>29332230
Fucking OiOi, hang yourself by the neck untill you are dead.
updates when?
>>29333052
I-I actually meant Vz. 95. What can I say, I'm a big fan of Tropentarn. That stuff seems kind of the similar and it looks really interesting.
Also, I'm working on another pattern for you guys. This one is another Hyperstealth original but it's a more unconventional one.
>>29333712
There was a guy selling tropentarn shirts for $10 at the Indy gun show recently. I have two now.
Will post decent pictures (and then promptly list it on eBay) once I get it.
'Tis a Bane-sized set.
>>29333736
I got one for $20, I'm jealous though. I have a flecktarn shirt that I ended up "sanitizing" by removing the little flags, but I didn't touch the Tropentarn shirt cause I felt like it might be worth something someday. Probably not true in the slightest but I still like the thing a lot. Also got a parka from NE and that's served me well. My only issue is that my Flecktarn shirt is from 2011 and the matching pants I got are from 1996 and they're mismatched.
I don't take it that anyone here would have some 2011 Gr.2/32w pants they'd want to trade...

>>29333871
As many as I want for $15 huh? I'll take 100.
>>29333768

>>29333891
Oh you meant $15 each? :^)
>>29333835
>>29333834
>>29333784
I think I still have the flags, I could probably put them back on just as easily.
>>29333946
>I could probably put them back on just as easily.
Using what? A non-Bundeswehr needle and non-Bundeswehr thread? Drink a bottle of bleach and "sanitize" yourself, you spazz.
>>29333901
don't give him ideas
>>29334017
I could use a needle and thread consecrated in a circle with pretzels and stone ground mustard as an offering and I could play Ich Hatt Einen Kameraden while I reattach it, if you think that would help.
>>29334127
You must also maintain eye contact with a shine to Urst for at least 5 seconds between each stitch.
As a complete aside, storing bullets in a magazine..does it wear out the spring?

>>29334209
Oki doki then.
Well I just succeeded in jewing a jew.
>>29334177
No, only loading and unloading it wears out the spring. I think unless it's one of the surplus mags. Then you don't want to store those fully loaded so the coils touch. At least that's what I heard on here once, and I know that was the practice for USGI metal STANAG magazines, which are complete shit, at least the ones with green followers. If you've got a modern polymer magazine just store it loaded.
>>29334145
Will I need some adhesive like beer or Shnapps too or will the thread be enough?
>>29334242
You, Cornfag and SpookGook are the reason these threads get shitposted. Get a fucking clue you mong.
>>29334259
Here's your camo, you filthy animals. I'll leave if you want me gone so bad
>>29334283
is this loss?
>>29334177
No.
>>29334177
No, loading and unloading the magazine wears out the springs. It's very common fuddlore that is so pervasive that the guards at my job unload all their mags when they return their guns to the armory.
>>29334259
Always picking on the new guys, huh shitposter?
>>29332230
>>29332694

>>29334309
I gotta admit, it made sense in my head also.
>>29334310
Just post your fucking pussy already. Somebody that doesn't know shit about anything, shouldn't be tripping or namefagging. these threads are crowded enough by blogposters (like Alpenfudge or FloridaNEET) as it is. We don't need more blockheads shitting up the place with roleplaying.
>>29334283
Just drop the fucking trip if you have no knowledge to share. And no, fictional 600x600 camo "patterns" are not knowledge.
>>29334378
I don't have the deepest of knowledge on this subject. Problem?

>>29334017
I'm going to be removing the flags from any camo I get from now on, this is a damn salt mine. A flecktarn jacket costs 4 euros here, I believe it's the same thing with tropentarn. It wouldn't be that big a loss if I tore the thing apart and made a hat that's not made for the tiny little heads like the ones at the milsurp store were.
>>29334709
I went straight to voicemail. Left him name, number, and asked about any/all Czech stuff he may still have. If I don't hear back by 1800EST, then I will try again tomorrow.
>>29334477

>>29334869
All I was thinking at the time was that I probably wouldn't want the flag for SHTF... I mean, it was 12 bucks for the shirt.
>>29334950
who cares what you did with you, you bought it.
>>29334932
LOSSPAT coming right up.
>>29334477
I see what you're trying to do and I think it's cool. Definitely not a camo for me, but imagine how people would cream their jeans if an experimental set made it onto eBay.
>>29334961
I could kill for a shirt in this pattern
>>29334406
No purpose to trip. You admitted it yourself.
>>29334671
>>29334880
Damn, hope he gets back soon.
Anyways just got my $17 shipped Puma parka in the mail.
>>29334986
>>29334963
That... Is a great idea. How much would you guys pay for an ACU shirt in LOSSPAT? And... How much would you pay if it were from a small Eastern European country?
>>29335294
ACU is a shit cut, just do BDU. Or better yet, flecktarn jacket.
>>29335294
HBT, Mk2 Combat, and BDU are much easier cuts and will probably be cheaper.
Won these for $10 + $12 shipping still coming in the mail. the name tag inside was Perez so there probably on the small side
I think I might make one of the trousers into a pair of shorts thoughts?
>>29335294
Don't do ACU. It's really not a good cut. Standard BDUs would be better, in my opinion.
>>29335375
Nice grab, was the other bidder on those. Yeah, shorts sounds goofy as fuck, and totally defeats the purpose of an over-suit to avoid (very early, albeit) night vision, but would be bad ass anyways.
Go for it, post results.
>>29335399
Fuck man, I really want the ccu template, it's pure sex.
>>29335294
Probably best to do it the other way, and look at how much you'd estimate it to cost and see what people think of that. then you can alter it to taste.
>>29335501
Silently, I'm amazed you can;t buy cut patterns from some place. I mean the chinese manage it.
Took some new pictures, most of it is my basic bitch stuff.
>>29335294

Does a US medium-regular fit most people here?
>>29335294

>>29335540
That's what I wear.
>>29335399
>>29335372
>>29335336
I'll probably do flecktarn pattern, but that ccu pattern is real nice. I'll need to come up with a price estimate then. How many of you would seriously buy a jacket?
>>29335540
Correct.
>>29335336
Fleck cut is best cut.
>>29335540
Medium reg fits a lot of people. Medium long even fits me.
>>29335554
Sure, I'll support..
the competition!
>>29335540

>>29335375
I'm pretty sure those are xsmall. That's why I didn't bid on them.
>>29335540
yep
>>29335557
Also, I know prices will be different, but how much did you pay to have the fleck-parka pattern professionally lifted?
>>29335545
This. Why not a BDU?
>>29335554
As long as it isn't ACU and is well made, I'm in.
>>29335582
Around 300 smackers, GBP. Quite a complex pattern though, a shirt will be a lot less. And that was London price, so knock another 30% off assuming you're not in LA or NY.
>>29335611
Kek, fucking rural real Carolina, deep in the bible belt.
Just a bunch of good ole' boys, I'm sure I could pay them with empty dip cans and beer.
>no, I'm not serious, not ALL of "the south" is like that
>>29335611
I'll seriously trade you a meter of LOSSPAT for a meter of Karst free of charge. Also, would it be easy enough to just measure the garment I've already got or tear one down and measure the pieces? They're pretty cheap after all.
>>29335546
>>29335567
>>29335557
>>29335578
>>29335570
I'd probably go with German Gr.6-8 or so. Is that okay with you guys? Also, are there any changes that anyone would like to see made to LOSSPAT, even minor ones? I haven't added any micro patterns, for instance. If I'm gonna sell these things, I'd like to know now.
>>29334869
How much are the fleck parkas where you're at? I'm looking for a GR.1 fleck parka, as old as you can find em but I don't want to pay 20 euro on ebay.
>>29335700
The last meter of material is currently in use. I can trade you a karst field cap.
>>29335700
You want to go bigger. I'd suggest a 12.
>>29335700
GR. 12 is my size, pretty sure that's medium regular.
>>29335719
>karst field cap
G-got any WIP pictures?
>>29335700
>Gr 6-8
That's quite small. I'm a Gr.14
>>29335611
Have you seen that GBF has one of your parkas for sale?
>>29335731
I concur with this, skinnies can wear stuff a little too big, but bane can;t squeeze into something smaller..and your main market is america after all...
>>29335746
Nope, it;s with a guy right now. It'll be done fairly soon I should think.
>>29335747
I know I traded it to him.
>>29335700
As Trench said, bigger is better. Put snaps or velcro on the cuffs and them being too long isn't a big deal, same goes for the length of the garment. If it's too short you're SOL.
>BCP edition
>>29335707
They're about 12 bucks. Gr.1 may be hard to find but I can try.
>>29335719
That's okay. I was originally thinking of copying some of your work and making a smaller version of your parka for myself, so maybe I'll just go ahead and do that. By the way, you said you used 10 oz cotton canvas, do you think something lighter should be used for a jacket?
>>29335731
I'll look around and see if I can find one that big. I found one with some sort of mechanic's patch sewn on the arm while I was buying my first one, it would be a shame if that one ended up being the right size, but hopefully my local shop has a variety of sizes.
Shit...I think I just fucked up. If the seller is in Mold, UK and I'm in the USA can they ship to me?
>>29335771

>>29335767
>>29335747
>>29335749
>>29335745
Gr. 12-14 it is, then. How does everyone feel about the pattern itself?
>>29335771
What is that? I've got this coming in the mail.
>>29335780
This is still my favorite color variant.
>>29335775
Oh right yeah, when I had it done they just measured it, but if you're doing it yourself I would suggest careful unstitching and measurement.
Yes, the 10oz is perfect for a parka but not for a lighter shirt/jacket. I was going to go with 6oz plain for the leopard, but I pictured it as summer wear. 8oz is probably closest to most light army jackets.
>>29335771
>russia
>united nations
I kek'd.
>>29335777
>>29335792
You'd probably need to make an upscaled version of it. The sample you have is too small for a printer. Generally speaking, I'm indifferent to the pattern but I think it would be neat to have.
I believe the Rhodie camo was going to be what, $50 for a BDU jacket? I would pay $40-50 for a jacket, and that's keeping in mind the Canadian dollar is shitty right now and Ivan only pays us in cumrags to shill for him.
>>29335777
>>29335810
If he's really anal about it, I can give you my address and forward it onto you. I don;t see why he would though, it;s a trip down the post office.
>>29335777
>>29335810
Best thing to do is send the seller a message and ask if they'll jump through the few extra hoops to ship internationally.
If they won't ship, they'll just refund you the money and re-list it. Hopefully you'll be outbid though, and not have to worry about it.
>>29335775
I can sell you one right now.

>>29335873
Sorry m8. I've had a huge boner for modern desert camos recently. The guy told me he had three of the boonies a 55 and a 56cm.
>>29335792
Make an overlay version on a fleck shirt with all three variations.
>>29335839
The fabric printer I use scales it for me, the two patterns I've dealt with so far needed a 30cmx30cm repeat.

>>29335839
Quit dreaming. There is no way "museum grade" Ivan will sell his chink copies for that low.
That is assuming he ever finishes and we all know the answer to that.
>>29335906
Like photoshop? Also you mean the digital one, the DCU one, and the very first one with the squares? I'll post those and we can have a straw poll.
>>29335911
I think I can do 30x30 cm. I'll post those patterns now and do the poll. Thanks also for the info on the fabric weight. This should make it a little easier to estimate a price point. I'll have the poll and then hopefully come back with a price for you guys in 1.5-2 hours when I can post again.
>>29335554
If it's in fleck cut I'd buy one
>>29335938
Russian right? I've just recently discovered a new love for the stuff.
>>29335965
Ever since cuntface's dead project people now think starting up fake camo repros is a viable moneymaking strategy and now new ones pop up every day.
Remind me again why Rhodiecunt is still considered one of the "good" tripshits?
>>29335961
Can I ask him in the damage control Skype chat and get back to you?
>>29335965
There's the DCU version that's tileable, and here's the first version I made with the squares. http://strawpoll.me/7147916
^There's the link to the poll.
>>29335965
How are you even going to finish this project if you even have to ask what pattern? Are you pro-actively shilling? What's the point if you can't do what you yourself want. Ridiculous.
>>29336004
>no updates
>no product
>not even tripfags answering basic questions
>prices on other goods keep increasing
It died years ago. Face the facts.
>>29336021
So >>29334961 is LOSSPAT 3 right?
>>29336025
This. /k/ doesn't need another camo project scam forced onto the community by some newfag tripshit that think's he's the arbiter of taste for /k/.
Once was enough. There's a reason we ran the Rhodesian Cuckold and his cronies out.
>>29336025
Cause if I'm gonna sink some money on this project I'd like to make at least some of it back, and I'd like to figure out which pattern people like the best, so I can sell the most jackets. As for why I asked which one, I posted those first two patterns awhile ago so I wanted to clarify those were the ones he meant.

You're whole approach is wrong from the get-go. If you want to repro camo, sure, do it. If you want to make a quick buck by catering to people, just don't.

>>29336084
LOSSPAT2 for lyfe.
>>29336162
No keep going. That other guy is just Rhodesian Camo having an autism meltdown.
He's done this before to others' projects.
>>29336166
>it is impossible to link to a picture from a previous thread
You do know you can just copy and paste an image's location into a new post without saving it.
>>29335953
1. We aren't talking about the parka.
2. The sizes are the same either way.
>>29336162
Well on a sensible note, I probably broke even on the karst project as a whole. The biggest advice I can give you is to keep it as simple as possible. Biggest cost is work, followed by fabric and then zips, finally other trimmings. Easier design equals cheaper work, but remember if you compromise too much you'll be remembered as that guy who made chink level quality jackets. It's possible to fall in the middle, I just hit high end.
>>29336191
It is downloaded into your browser cache on your disk then reuploaded.
>>29335989
The point was never about making money.
>>29336172
I just need to look at the cost and how much money I can dedicate to the project. But he's partially right, maybe profit shouldn't be such a huge consideration. I'll look at costs and come up with an estimate for you guys. I'd say that breaking even would be good enough for me. Where would you all like to buy these things? Is ebay ideal for stuff like this?
>>29336205
>>29336225
Also good advice. I'll get back to you guys in about 2 hours, hopefully with good news.
>>29336195
>2. The sizes are the same either way.
>A light shirtjacket is the exact same cut and size as a parka meant to be worn over layers
Please lose weight.
>>29336225
So then why isn't it out yet? Why are they still forcing people to pay money for the privilege of being told basic info? Surely if Rhoddie and co. weren't such kikes we'd see something by now.
There are too many holes in your retarded narrative. Weak damage control is weak.
>telny menes
>>29336004
Thats not Pakistani brushstroke, similar patterns were used by Iraq,Somalia and Algeria.
>>29336230
You may or may not make money on this endeavor, but it creates trust. I now trust Telny to come through when he promises a pattern, if this works out I'd trust you as well.
>>29336225
>>29336230
It wasn't for me, profit I mean. Probably helped it get done a lot faster.
>>29336289

>Silently, I'm amazed you can;t buy cut patterns from some place. I mean the chinese manage it.
yeah there are a few cut patterns I'd love to buy. I might get my girlfriends friend to make a few for me.
>>29336529
>get a flecktarn pack.
I personally have a khampfruckpack and I love it so far.
>>29336482
Argentina is whiter than London :D
Also why did it copy paste what I posted earlier?
>>29336445
Damn...that is a nice looking backpack.
>>29336375
Soon my pet, soon I will feed you a jacket. If the fucking Post Office was ever blaady open, I hate backwater towns.

OG Bergen baby, 70l for £50. Camp for a week on that.
>>29336569
Combined with some extra pouches, canadian vest and a jerven I can see it working quite well. I need to learn how to not pack so much shit though, I'm actually quite inexperienced in camping matters.
>>29336581
that's tiny compared to mine.
>>29336618
its not a big pack.
perfect for fuckin around innawoods
>>29336283
I have it mislabeled. It was sold to me as Pakistani but the closest as far as I can tell is Iraq.
>tfw somebody bids beyond what you were willing to pay for something but you still really want it

Make Karst Balaclavas.
>>29336975
Welcome to life.
>tfw my slavshit should be arriving next week.
>>29336774
The Thais get some of them, never found out what they were. Some of their patterns were not far off from the Belgian brushstroke.
>>29337143
Karst rape mask is a go.
>>29335944
make a backpack?
>>29337145
There's more variation in the Belgian brushstroke, although it looks a lot like it. The Iraqi one is only three tones and it looks like a close match.
>>29337198
I wouldn't even know how to go about that.
>>29328892
Kek
>>29337143
What slavshit did you get? Relative to it's weight, was shipping a lot? I found someone with great deals, but shipping might make it not worth it. How long is/was your shipping time?
>questions apply to anyone who's ordered slavshit from russia/ukraine

I also want to make one of these; Thinking Desert night for this bigger pack, and choco chip for a smaller kids size pack, which is perfect for a small fly fishing pack. Was just going to cut the shirts up, and a desert night parka or two. I think a karst bag would be fly as fuck though.

Check your email trench.
>>29337169
Make a Payday style mask out of Karst. That would look dope.
>>29337512
Cause A-TACS is fucking tight.
I thought that Varusteleka has sold out on so many camo items so quickly lately because of their new $10 shipping. It just occurred to me from lurking the Ukraine thread that the Ukies might just be buying them all instead.
>>29338081
You'd be right,.
>>29338163
surpfest is now in early july if that changes your mind
So what got you guys interested in surp collecting?

Buying Alpenflage from NE, then these threads.

How much would one of those swiss horse hair rucksacks set me back?
>>29338448
Dank camo mane
>>29338555
A perfect one? A little more than $100. Mine was $126 and it's pretty much flawless.
They can never be repaired, so getting one that is not near perfect is a waste of money.
>>29338592
its not something i'd buy myself, but im interested nonetheless. do you have more pics?
>>29338627
Yarp.
>>29338448

>>29338641
>>29338659
thanks. do you actually use it in excursions or is it just for your collection?
>>29338670
Collection. It's a horrible backpack. Well made, but uncomfortable as all hell.
>>29338659
Those are cardboard, right?
>>29338722
The chargers? Yeah. When loaded, they are leaps and bounds better than the plastic reproductions.
>>29338448
Back in the summer of 13' somebody told me it was all too expensive, and that flecktarn was rare.
Spite for this person turned into a love for surp spurred by a fondness for guns and militaria
>>29334309
isn't that just going to wear out the springs? At least get them hooked on the full minus one trick. That way, the spring isn't ll the way compressed so it doesn't wear out. It's science.
>>29338873
Nope. Unless your magazine is hot garbage, you cannot damage it by keeping it loaded.
>>29338448
A year ago when I finally went to NE and saw how cheap flecktarn shirts were. For some reason I just expected foreign milsurp would be really expensive.
>>29338496
And this of course.
>>29338929
I mean the constant loading and unloading every day when they check out/in at the armory
