No, it isn't. Last time I checked it added two more parts total, one of which being the false hammer so you can still cock the hammer manually. Also the "problem no one had" is reducing muzzle flip which people constantly argue about bore axis for that exact reason and new pistols are constantly being designed to achieve lower bore axis to fix that exact problem.
