I was thinking, isn't Pakistan perhaps the most /k/ country other than the US? They have one of the largest militaries in the world with varied units and equipment, a real assortment of domestic production and American and Chinese weaponry. Civilian gun ownership is widespread and includes handguns, centerfire rifles, etc. Open carry is legal outside of cities. There is a thriving weapons industry, and also there are the legendary backyard "Khyber Pass" gunsmiths

By what measure do they have one of the largest militaries in the world ? They are ranked 17 on the global firepower index , so unless you are reaching hard I can't see how they classify as one of the largest militaries in the world

There's the military (army, navy, air force) the police(they usually wear green jumper and khaki pants) border guards and frontier constabulary. They all have their own camo.
Other than that it also depends on the topography

That's because outside of the capital and a few major cities there isn't any government control whatsoever.

Met a Pakistani family living near me. The father was getting some training at the EOD school near where I live. Very nice people. Helped them get acclimated to the area.
