Superficially the Daewoo K2 resembles the Ar180 and parts of the FNC, the internals are derived from the M16 rifle and the gas operating system borrows from the AKM.

Spare parts are unobtainable for a Daewoo and the same thing goes for mags for a Valmet.
If you are buying anything preban it should be an AK or a HK series rifle where parts and mags are easy to find.

Yeah they are great. Its about the lightest piston assault rifle ever made and has most of the plusses of an AR and is tapped for a rail.
The stock allows a low bore axis, and lower 1/3rd cowitness or you could theoretically chop the sights off and use a fagpull with a riser to use AR equipment.
Downsides are the right side charging handle and the outdated furniture/built in sights.

Dr200/300 are significantly cheaper, but not preban obviously. Parts can be found, gb and daewoorifleparts dot com.
I have a dr and I love it. I got the ace stock from stormwerkz. The only thing that's super shitty other than the barrel twist is the fake flash hider. It's silver soldered on so you have to heat the shizz out of it to get it off. Get some heat sink compound to protect the barrel finish because the hider has to get red hot.
Also get the 90 selector.

Iraq uses the K2 to some extent. There's pictures and videos floating around of them being used by Iraqi SF and other units.
Not really sure what they think of them, but I doubt they're really in a position to complain if there are problems.
