Theyre fucking expensive, ive never seen one under 5k

I seen one for 3k last year with a half rooted bore but I had no money at the time...... I have seen them for sale for as much as 10k. No6 is my dream milsurp after an fg42, No6 is a lot more realistic though.

this is from skinnerton's book. seems a bit longer than the one you posted OP and the sight is mounted different. But there may be variations in the 100 made.

Nah m8, all those 'genuwine' aussie No.6s are just tanker cutdowns.

You can always email Skennerton too. He has a website.

I sent him an email a few years back about the rare Maltby FTR mark on the off chance he might reply, and he did. Seems like a decent guy, I got the information I wanted and he also recommended several relevant parts in one of his books; which is fair enough.

Yeah. One of my LGS has some sporterized SMLEs. Figuered it wouldnt be to hard of a project to do. I fucking hate the way the No. 5 and No. 6 look so a very short SMLE Carh-bean is right up my alley. I mean they arent Lithgow's (which I guess is a good thing) but Im not trying to sell it as a fake anyway.
