So what's the deal with the upcoming NFA I keep hearing about?

Are we going to lose the rest of our guns?
>>
Google "41F"
>>
>>29275784
That seems related to american issues?
>>
Every indication says we are going to lose lever guns (moved to cat C) and have the mag cap dropped to 5 rounds instead of 10. They will also be banning some weapons by name and institute the ban of weapons that look clise to military weapons.

All that is a good result from the NFA review, if it goes bad we will have a mexican/japan type gun law system where the average person won't be able to get a hold of any type of gun.

Basically, get set to get rekt.

Murrican here. From what I understand your NFA is up for a review, which could either mean strengthened or relaxed laws.

From previous threads, apparently your media has gone from pretending the gun laws were completely effective to howling about how ineffective they are and how you need more.
>>
>>29277179
Load of shit

They couldn't even afford to buyback the Adler's in the country let alone all levers and I'm not talking only in dollars.
>>
>>29277244
>>Canada: Im sorry but you have to go
nah it's more like

>>
>>29277179
Yeah thats pretty much what GCA, that Alpers cocksucker and the police/registry arseholes have secretly agreed to feed to the politicians.

>>29277279
Nah, they dont need a buyback this time.
The buyback dosh was to sucker gunholders into bringing out their guns from hiding to make profit.
Now all Adlers&Levers etc are registered and they know who has them, so if they become CatC you either have to sell them cheaply to some lucky prick who has a CatC licence (and they will be limited) or surrender it to the cops for nothing.

> So...FUCK THEM. Vote S&F LDP ALA even the SexParty instead of the Big2 so they get balance of power in the Senate not the fucktard Greens

Help FOU on facebook with their pro gun billboard funding

3K in one day crowdfunded out of 46k for a billboard in every state capital aint bad
>>
>>29277433
I get paid next week, will donate $50 then.
>>
>>29277430
Ugh. Ignore this individual.
>>
>>29277270
Yeh its massive cognitive dissonance on their part.

Kind of funny to watch them struggle with it all.

The growth in crime after the laws, the decrease later on, the non mass shootings mass shootings. The overall decrease in crime at the present day but the increase in gun ownership numbers since '96.

The surmise they need more laws. To protect the perfect laws.
>>
>>29277450
I would say he is spreading FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) to a certain degree. The reality is the outcome does depend on over things and is not decided.

However with the change in Senate voting I would suggest in the upper house depending on how it is set up, putting the Greens, LNP and Labour last or if able to without invalidating your vote dropping them off altogether.
>>
>>29277179
Pistols aren't all that effected at all
>>
>>29277433
As much as I want this to work, one billboard per capital isn't going to work since most of the people living in the cities are anti-gun. If you want people to know about your profun campaign you should be spreading the awareness in rural communities where people still like guns. I realize that's hard with limited funds but honestly shit like this in the city will either get graffiti all over it or taken down cos muh public outcry.

$46k for 1 billboard per city?
Wow, and how many GetUp wankers will be complaining to the Advertising Standards Council over the disgrace or omg too close to kiddies schools...?
> For the same funds thats $15k each to have every member of GCA pushed under a train and $1k left over for beers to piss on their graves
>>
>>29277526
It's 46k for the lot. They are like 6-9k each or something depending on the location.
>>
>>29277496
Thats the whole point m8, for too long we have had a slow silent degrading of our gun laws just getting worse and worse the idea is to shake things up, i guarantee you a billboard above the westgate bridge in melbourne for a month will shake things up nicely

Weve been preaching to the already converted for years, it leads no where
>>
>>29277616
Yeah I get that its 1 in Sydney Brisvegas Melbourne Adelaide Perth Canberra, maybe even Hobart if tassie even has billboards, but there are only 3 people in GCA in the whole cuntry so the figures still work out

my theory:

lever actions moved into the same category as pumps, because let's face it they are more like pump actions than break actions and they only ever fell into cat A+B because they weren't specifically mentioned

because of that, the market price of them will skyrocket and illegal private sales will be inevitable, so there will also be a ban on transferring them and little tolerance for people who loose their lever actions in tragic boating accidents

maybe they will allow them to be grandfathered in to someone with an A+B license to at least allow the cops to keep track of who owns them

maybe they will be bought back periodically when the original owner dies, spreading the cost.

there will also probably be a closer look at legislation in general by someone who knows something about guns, likely resulting in a few minor tweaks, and maybe a few guns banned that are more likely to be modified post-sale.
>>
>>29277244
Why does everyone always copy the us?
>>
>>29277836
But we can have pump action and lever action rifles, why are shotguns so scary?
>>
>>29277839
Cause for us in the anglosphere you're the only ones who got out. The britcucks couldn't risk losing us so they acted nicer and kept more control to keep us in their shitty "commonwealth".
>>
>>29277953
Kinda like in the states you can have a rifle with a barrel 16 inches or above but a shotgun has too be 18.5".
>>
>>29277179

Nope

Lever shotguns will have a 5 round limit

That's about it as far as users are concerned

Stuff banned by name that otherwise meet the law has been throw out for being illogical

Last I checked, just handing your gun to potential strangers is a pretty silly thing to do.

I get that they are a tool and a goddamn marvel of engineering but I've never fired a gun before, so I'm naturally a bit wary of them and I'm a bit uncomfortable just being handed a object that has the capacity to fuck someone up if improperly used when I have no practical experience with it.

This shit literally makes me sick.
Political parties have wrought the system - anyone who votes for a non-independent representative is wilfully throwing their vote away.
All party candidates are kept in line by the party leadership - no matter what you voted them in for, their leadership still controls their votes - they aren't representing you and are wilfully fixing legislature.

If businesses operate the way parliament does, they would be shut down by the ACCC and people would go to gaol, but politicians can be as corrupt as they want in broad daylight.

Vote independent - let them know that they report only to their constituents.
