Question:

What would California look like if they had Arizona gun laws? Would it be a better place?
>>
The presence of conservative gun laws would absolutely drive out any liberals from the state, and they would all migrate to other capitals around the nation like Colorado and Washington. CA would become what Texas is today, a frontier for any booming businesses free of arbitrary regulations.

But nope instead we get fucking hippie garbage.
>>
CA could be one of the best states. the majority of its problems are from all the shitty laws and regulations. Today the inhabitants are free-spirited but they're not free.

Geographically the same, only the people wouldn't be shit and we could get the pavement apes under control. i.e. better armed Roof Koreans.

feinstein FUCKING DIES
>>
California has excellent scenery and there are plenty of cool places to shoot but that fact that 80% of the population lives along the coast or in liberal shitholes up north ruins it. It would be heaven, pretty much.
>>
Better question:

>what if Arizona had a none shit climate and ocean

I love this state's gun laws (AZ), but fuck I hate the heat.
>>
>>29275098
Op here we annex baja california and claim it as New Zonia
>>
annex san bernadino county even though it's not even close they are basically the same thing
>>
>>29274754
california used to be based in freedom, it wasnt until recently like the 1960s when it turned to faggotry
>>
>>29275180
mexico would never allow you to take it from them
>>
>>29275098
fuck you nigger, I hate trees and fucking water. I love the endless desert and cacti, you can fucking move to faggotfornia, I bet you're a goddamn transplant
>>
>>29275209
Ofcourse not we ask politely first.
>>
>>29275197
Actually it was the 80s.

>>29274754
It would be GOD TIER.

And everyone would be nice so they wouldn't get shot.
>>
>>29275221
>>29275209
Not him and not joking, just a random thought in my head, but I always wondered why the United States didn't buy or wage war for the Baja peninsula, good fishing there.

nigger we have desert out the ass too
>>
>>29275209
>Mexico
>Can't even control it's own territory
>Can't even govern itself
>Definitely can't defend it's own borders if we choose to take Baja away from them
>>
>>29274754
It would be absolutely based. Scare off the liberals, which in turn then eliminates the welfare state, which then makes the leeches want to follow the liberals so they can continue to be leeches.

We end up will less overpopulation, more freedom, and unbeatable geography and climate.
>>
>>29275098
>I hate the heat

Arizona has beautiful landscapes, and dry heat.
Dry 100°F is way better than humid 85°F.
>>
>>29274754
What would any of the states with shit gun laws look like with Arizona gun laws?
>>
I would move to California in a heartbeat if it better gun laws.
>>
>>29275098
You know, there's an entire other half of the state that isn't hot.
>>
>>29274754

It would be miles better. The main reason I moved home after college in California was the retarded state government (They're trying to ban blocks of Aluminum now) so if that changed, the only issue would be the ridiculous cost of living.
>>
>>29275065
God will never allow Feinstein to die, for without evil, the choice to do good has no meaning.
>>
>>29275211
If you love desert California has this thing called Death valley, the desertest desert to ever desert.
>>
>>29274754
CA Fag here.

If CA had an injection of freedoms it would be a veritable paradise.

You can go inna beaches, inna mountains, inna desert, inna what should be the State of Jefferson, inna central valley that we should mostly ignore.

Delicious CA style Mexican food, In N Out, cute brown women, and people are generally not Bible humping fundamentals.

Traffic in OC/LA will still suck ass though and cost of living anywhere worth living in CA sucks ass.

To the rest of you CA fags, why are bullet buttoned SALT Rifles more popular than featureless?

Yes my AK l and AR looks kinda dumb with that kydex cover on the grip, but shits still an AK and I don't have to bother with the dumb bullet button.
>>
>>29276101
Because I like pistol grips and it's not at all difficult to swap a bullet button out for a standard mag release.

>>
>>29276128
Even more so whe you have something like the radlock which canbe used as a normal mag release with a few turns of an Allen wrench. The only reason to have a featureless rifle is if you have pre ban 30 round mags.

Yeah, I'm sure everything would just change overnight and California would be a flawless utopia because we can suddenly have 9000 round mags and LaRue would stop being faggot autists and sell to us.
The iron curtain would fall and we can be a glorious gun friendly paradise, much like
Mississippi or Florida.
Oh, you don't believe me?
Allow me to post some beautiful pictures of Florida and Mississippi.
Notice the trees and grass.
And the Us flag. Truly the most American people live here.
Imagine that..A US state with trees and grass.
I sure wish I knew what trees and grass were like.
But no, I'm going to die of dehydration in a few days...at least we have Donald Trump and the many great states who are making his presidency more and more of a reality.
He's going to build a big wall, much like the great wall of China on the southern border and kick out the millions of illegal Mexicans tarnishing our great land. Fiscally conservative plans, I say.
Every day I cry myself to sleep thinking "Why couldn't I have been born in Arizona!? WHY GOD, WHYYY?! That should be ME doing meth and living in the desert!"

Probably a lot more spic/niggers shooting each other and robbing white people. We're starting to get a lot of that here. The gun laws can't stay lax unless the society isn't full of scummy people (shitskins). Facts and statistics back me up, your emotions however may or may not disagree with me.

Question since we's in a cali thread

I really like the look of a featureless AK, specifically when you just remove the pistol grip from it, (inspiration https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7zAFwWaNHE )

ANYONE know a producer of a wood stock that doesn't look so awkward to shoulder?
>>
>>29276101
Your standard bullet button on an AR is nothing more than a longer piece of tiny metal that can be switched out in under 5 minutes for regular release.

You can even slap a certain magnet product on it and it turns into a semi-permanent release.

The radlock can be reverted back to a regular push release with a few turns of a wrench.

As opposed to changing the stock and grip. Not to mention you'll need to put a brake on in place of the standard birdcage hider.

And of course, it just looks and handles better than going featureless.
>>
>>29276101
Because my super dangerous baby-killing bayonet lug fucking belongs on it.

Because it takes 15 seconds to put my regular mag releases back on. A transgendered AK or AR needs surgery to be made whole again. I moved into the state with them so still have real mag releases stashed away. I'll put a cock ring on it but I ain't cutting it off.

Because I have a fucking ring with a quarter inch "Bb tool" built onto it. I wear it on my thumb. I don't even notice that abortion of a BB because when I go to release a mag with my thumb (as I've always done because I shoot left handed) it just drops free like it always has.

BB is just a nuisance. Make a tool for it like I did and you won't even notice it. Performing gender reassignment surgery on a world-changing marvel of engineering like an AR or AK is just admitting defeat. Tell Gavin Newsom to suck your fat dick while you blow a load up his nose by giving it its manhood back.

And while you're at it, buy a Modulus or Easy jig and a case of 80% lowers so you can make Newsom cry himself to sleep at night while you build an Army of "ghost guns" with those "shoulder-thingy's that go up".

I really fucking hate this state. I'm stuck here for now because I married a beaner from LA. I didn't want to move back in the first place but she missed her family. I took her to NH for 12 years. I spent the last two days up in San Fran and still can't get the smell of liberal tears and butt hurt stupidity off me. I got off the plane in Ontario today and had to take a shower to quell the stench. On a good note a couple of boxes were waiting for me - CMMG LPK and ambi-safety, BCM buffer tube, and a new Magpul stock.
>>
>>29276658
......and I just installed my third Geissele trigger. Almost as good as sex.
>>
>>29276658
>muzzle brake/compensator
>fixed stock
>grip wrap (unscrew, remove) or if using alternate grip unscrew, replace with normal grip
wow that was hard

the bayo lug does not make it an assault weapon at all in california, strangely enough
>>
>>29276573
Your post is a little more graceful than mine (below yours). But you're right.

I'm also a little on the "fuck you California" side of things too because the "featureless" items are really irrelevant. A pistol grip or bayonet lug doesn't make my rifle "super deadly" (well, if you ignore the thousands of bayonet charges that take place on America's playgrounds every year. Oh wait....). It's all about the feels. It's just too darn scary looking so if having a worthless piece of metal under my barrel makes them shit their pants then so be it....I want two lugs under there.
>>
>>29276337
I think Breaking Bad was written and intended to be in San Bernardino County...but it's cheaper to film in new mexico.
>>
>>29276704
My mistake on the bayo lug then. I moved here from NH and have family in MA where bayo lugs are an issue.

>>
>>29276101
My rifle isn't featureless, has no bullet button, and has 30 round magazines. Fuck the bay area, they have no power here in Inland Valley. Hell, you already would have a hard time telling apart the inland regions of CA from AZ, if there wasn't a border check point.
>>
>>29276741
Correction....didn't mean to make it sound like bayo lugs are in issue in NH. Just MA.

There isn't much that isn't legal in NH. The state's gun laws could fit on a post-it note. Heck, calling police to report open-carry is considered harassment and could land you in court in NH.
>>
>>29276101
I agree with you, I also preach the featureless, though I prefer the monsterman grips. I can use 30 round mags. And I don't get all the tards who think is so much trouble to go though changing it back to normal. It is literally one screw for both the AK or the AR. Easier than swapping out a fucking bullet button, thats for sure.
>>
>>29276704
vs. 15 seconds to screw on a mag release that costs $7.
>>
>>29276797
Replacing a mag release is about the easiest thing you can do to an AR. You screw it on.

I have no problem with featureless guns, I just don't want one and not going to change the configuration of my rifles to comply with nonsensical bs laws. Just putting the BB's on was painful enough as it is. I'm a blasphemer!
>>
>>29274786
The gun laws are a byproduct of unchecked liberalism, not the cause of it.

Look at Vermont. Like CA, 90% of VT is conservative. And like CA where the fate of the entire state is controlled by voters in Los Angeles and San Francisco, in Vermont the entire state is controlled by a single city - Burlington.

Yet VT has some of the best gun laws in the country. Even back in the 80's when only a handful of states allowed concealed carry, VT didn't even require a permit (and still doesn't). VT and CA both suffer from unchecked liberalism but their gun laws are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum, yet VT gun laws had no effect on stopping liberal policies.
>>
>>29276162
Be careful what you wish for. Feinstein will be replaced by someone far worse. She'll die just after Leland Yee gets out of jail and he'll win her seat in a landslide.

The real threat is Gavin Newsom. He already announced his 2018 gubernatorial run, wants to outlaw all semi-auto rifles in CA, and is being funded by Bloomberg.

Never in my life would I have expected the front-runner for governor would be a guy whose platform is based on freeing Californians from the oppressive burdens of Constitutional rights.

But then again, I never thought we'd elect a President who openly advocated stripping the Supreme Court of its Constitutional authority (Obama) or a fucking socialist would be a front-runner for President....but here we are.

Even 120*F isn't too terrible.
>born in southern AZ (Ft. Huachuca)
>moved to Georgia
I can say with 100% certainty that 120* and 30% humidity (so basically late May through late August in southern AZ) is more comfortable than 95* and 90%+ humidity (which is like late April through early October in Georgia)

>trying to downplay the traffic and cost of living

gun autism aside, the real problem with CA is that the power of the dollar here is pathetic. a shit studio in LA will run $2000 in a crime-ridden area. CA needs to get their cost of living under control and they dont help things by trying to raise taxes every year

AZ tier gun laws would make CA marginally better. I'd love it, but the real problems are things like.
-There's a bunch of money in the cities and most of the rest if the state is an economic wasteland.
-Therefore everyone who wants a decent paying job has to live in the city.
-Cities get clusterfuck tier crowded.
-Cost of living soars. Try 1000-2000/mo rent for a 300sq.foot shed in the sprawl 10-50 miles from the city itself with bumper to bumper traffic during both rush hours, each 3-6 hours long and virtually no viable public transportation alternatives.
-Now people want social programs to control cost of living and keep their less fortunate relatives from going homeless (you basically need 50k/yr to keep a roof over your head and barely afford ramen).
-City politics became 100% liberal.
-Cities represent 90% of the population.
-State politics become 90% liberal.
-With no political opposition, politicians collude and spend tax dollars on anything they want. Pass any liberal laws no matter how insane.
-State becomes a 1-party system.
-Politicians protect each other. Corruption becomes norm. Almost no tax money spent on anything useful. Tax rates soar, programs flounder, voters vote for more programs and taxes unaware that 90% of it goes to administration and graft.
-State decays. Infrastructure breaks down. Tax rates drive business away.
-Next step, Detroitification.
>>
>>29274897
They don't want freedom. They want more and more regulations.
>>
>>29279880
I know it's a fantasy dream, but California needs to be broken into two states

North California

South California

or create the state of Jefferson, I'd move there without question if it has AZ levels of gun freedom. I'd still need to get CC permits from the southern counties to visit family still trapped south though.

Some substantial part of this is presumably due to the regulatory environment surrounding California urban planning. See, for instance, http://marginalrevolution.com/marginalrevolution/2015/03/houston-v-california.html
