Honestly it's a good way to get in to shooting as police trade in and used g19s can be had for nothing.
That way when you know what you wantto upgrade to your next gun you should still have around 1500 or so left for a fun gun.

1911s are goid guns but as far as a starter weapon they might be a little intimidating.
As far as disassembly etc.
BTW I am the guy recommending the g19 and sll I own are 1911s. But for a simple starter it's hard for me to recommend one without knowing how mechanically inclined you are.

Well first off, don't get a Deagle. Seriously, that thing weighs as much as a brick and is as unwieldy as one too. Like everyone else has said in this thread, I would say go with a g19 and then make your way up from there. But for christ's sake, don't get a Deagle.
