I ignored the manual and detail stripped my Sub200.
I don't know what Kel-Tek was thinking when they designed this trigger. Nothing but levers and some loose springs held together by the receiver, both halves of which are held together by wood screws.
Still a fun gun though. Just need to get to put back together.

I made a bead sight for an old 16gauge shotgun with nothing but a drill and some files.
It looked pretty nice and worked well with birdshot. Then when I shoot a slug though the full choked barrel it disappeared.
Also kinda fixed the firing pin by adding a pen spring to it so the action could close.

if youve got a ria 1911 i strongly recommend replacing every spring in the gun with colt or wilson combat parts.
ria springs are functional but crude as fuck.
just swapping the leaf dropped the trigger pull by a pound.

Designed a +1 baseplate for my m57 and had it 3d printed in stainless steel. Works great too. It gives me a nice sense of accomplishment even if it isn't a major change is the guns performance.

Got a lighter hammer spring for my cz p-01. Just a few pounds, not enough to warrant a new recoil spring, but it made a noticable difference in DA and the half-cock trigger pull.
Planning some vz grips for it in the future since the factory rubber ones are pretty fat and clothing do in fact hang on them a few times I've practiced drawing.

Apex trigger and lighter springs on m&p9
Sear and pull spring on vp9 to lighten trigger a tad
Paired sear and Commander hammer with a beaver tail safety grip on my Colt 1911 GI -was getting hammer bite at times,eventually polished the internals and put a shim in place of the series 80 saftey parts to convert to a series 70now has a sweet crisp break at about 4lbs

on my Beretta M9 i replaced the factory plastic trigger with a factory metal trigger, and the guide rod with a wilson combat metal guide rod
on my 1911 i replaced the straight mainspring housing with an arched one, replaced the grips with rosewood grips with a stripper girl on them, and replaced the slide release with an extended one, and polished the trigger.
currently in the process of attempting to re-blue my Taurus 689. which i had already polished the hammer and trigger on.
on my savage stevens 320 i polished the bolt and the tongue
on my mosin i modified the bolt to be bent, and long, put it on the archangel stock set, put a scope, bipod, and muzzle break on it and polished the bolt
i polished part of my ruger MK2 to a mirror finish.
and i only have two guns other than that, so i modify most of my guns.
