Hi,

Polish guy here, soon enough i'm gonna have my weapons permit. In the army I had an AKM which pretty much sucked, unbalanced - front is way too heavy, 7,62x39 not really accurate and kicks like a horse.

So I've decided to spend more money and buy an AR, but their offer is pretty much limited to few manufacturers in Poland like S&W, Stag Arms, Mossberg, Schmeisser, DPMS

I'm willing to spend on it like 1200 bucks/euro. Which one would be the best when it comes down to reliability and used materials?
>>
>>29247411
Stag is best of those choices
>>
>>29247411
S&W
>>
>>29247411
theyre all pretty decent. never heard of Schmeisser though. It's pretty hard to screw up an AR

>>29247438
stag makes s&w
>>
>>29247425
Is it any good or even taken into consideration in american market?

Not sure about their european exports, but here in the states:

S&W, Stag > DPMS > Mossberg

Don't know who Schmeisser is.

Grats on being a hasguns european btw.
>>
>>29247446
...wat? Source please? Pretty Sure S&W makes their own AR's. I dont think they outsource to another company.
>>
Good to hear Poland isn't full of pansy faggots like most of Europe. Congrats on being a AR owner soon.
>>
>7.62x39 kicks like a horse
>>
oh, there's also CMMG and Daniel Defense, but as it looks Daniel seem to be rather more expensive
>>
I will go for this one:
https://www.stagarms.com/model-1/

In the near future probably gonna pimp it out with magpuls and whatnot. Thank you all for the responses
>>
What about Sig made ARs?
>>
>>29247469
>I dont think they outsource to another company.
You'd be surprised who makes what for who in the gun industry.
>>
But on the other hand Smith&Wesson M&P15 Sport specifcation is pretty much the same as Stag but it's like 2/3 of Stag's price
>>
>>29247794
SIGM400 Enhanced looks to be an option too

>a horse with severe arthritis
>>
So ultimately which one would you pick?
- S&W M&P15 Sport
- SIG M400 Enhanced
- Mossberg MMR 65074

Thanks in advance!

Siema! Polfag on the other side of the ocean. I build an ar and am so glad people in motherland are getting into adult legos. Here is what i have noticed lurking around/trying different things in shops:
1) SW is a really good buy if youre going for budget AR and wanting to switch furniture later on. It is a really good entry point that people love here and SW has great lifetime warranty. The first sport does not have a dust cover and forward assist. The newer versions of sport 2 have those features

2)SIG is another great company. With this one you wont have to change the magpul furniture and it seems like it has mbus on it. Here is the thing: you will be paying for the brand. The SIG is made out of the same materials as the SW sport but it costs more due to magpul furniture and brand name.

So the decision is kind of yours:
1) you can buy a basic AR and then upgrade it with your money left over
2)you can buy a basic AR and not have a lot of money left over.

The first choice depends whether you want FA and DC. If the sport in the store does not go for the sig.

I wouldnt touch mossberg with a 6 foot pole (kek).
Let me know if you have questions. Milej niedzieli.

oh, horseshit. My saiga ak kicks ass. I like it better that all my other rifles. Including A colt Ar-15 lightweight and a Noveske n4.

Why does everyone hate on the MMR so much?
Sure they seem cheap, but it seems like there's something more.
>>
>>29247565
DD has the best rails in the industry. I think they're better than kac. but you'd be better buying a s&w and slapping a DD rail on there later, because that's cheaper

Mossberg has a pretty shotty quality control and is very late to the AR market than established companies such as SIG and SW. Full disclaimer I have never owned a mossberg Ar. The info i have is from other internet sources (youtube, other gun forums) and talking to other gun owners who had mossbergs. If you like it and think its a good purchase for you go for it. I would not trust a company who is just getting into the AR market (more chances of getting something wrong) besides i am not sure if mossberg has lifetime warranty.

Why are you comparing 12ga to 5,56?
>>
>>29248230
Saiga also makes a rifle model 762x39. I think thats what he was referring to.

FA=forward assist - this is the little button on the side that puts the bolt forward if the round doesnt chamber properly. It is an ok feature. Used it only once when my ar was new and not broken in. If you dont want it you dont usually need it. I wanted it for asthetic purposes

DC=dust cover - its that little flap on the left side that protects the ejection port. Probably the more useful of the 2 as it prevent crap, dust, sand, etc from getting inside of the gun. Again not the most crucial feature to have on the gun, but definitely helps to keep the crud out.

Ignorant and wimpy? You should just buy a length of rope and hang yourself.
>>
if it takes that long and it that much of a pain to own a rifle I would buy the best one I could get.

buy once, cry once

I see, i knew these two purpose, but wasn't really familiar with acronyms - Thanks!

Why not build your own? Do you have to buy them complete? You can build an AR that's much better on average for the money you spend by putting your own together. They are not hard to put together. There are only a few tools you would need.
