Consider me trolled, but since you're too fucking stupid to use Google, a meter is 10 percent longer than a yard. So you can see how, at short distances, depending on what you're measuring for, not a particularly big difference.
However, at long distances 10 percent can be pretty significant.
It's actually 9.04% longer, but I rounded since you clearly have a peabrain.

It's not an issue. The small difference doesn't change anything until you are out till at least 600ish yards.
Getting it in the center and not to the left or right is far more important that an inch or two high/low at a few hundred yards.

I've got to agree. Not many ranges are going to have much beyond 300m anyway for you to shoot at. Zero it for 100m or 200m and practice the fundamentals.
Ideally, iron sights would be best to practice the fundamentals on, but I know that new scope is snazzy.
Try getting a group up or a range partner -- someone you can hang with and compare scores with. Like a workout partner, you encourage and make each other better. it will help you develop goals and overcome some of that "I don't know what I'm doing" frustration. A shooting club would be even better. Good luck.

this is how I zero my AK's, and it works for me out to 300 yards.
1. Rear sight is set to Battle Zero (last spot on rear sight ramp)
2. Fire 3 shots at target at 25 yards
3 Adjust sights accordingly to move point of impact to point of aim. (do not use Kentucky Windage)
4. Fire another 3 shot group to verify.
With this zero you can hit a 1'x1' steel plate at 300 yards, you can either just hold over (barely) the target, or you can adjust your iron sights to the 300 designation. I just use a hold over myself, it works fine.
