should mention chokes are ok to use, but they turn the wax slug into wax shots essentially and the narrower the choke he wider the spread, so essentially the opposite of what you're used to
also you need to test the slugs to make sure the wax is firmly in the casing, if it pops loose then you can create a short burn and blow up your gun. testing is simple, tap it primer side up on a table a few times, if it falls out the shit is no good.
