I was a moron and I tried attaching the trigger group to the barrel on my SKS, now it won't release. I'm pressing the button at an angle, and the saftey is off. Am I fucked? What do I do?
Forgot to mention, I didn't use the stock. Because I'm a moron.

I had this happen to me, if you have a vice then get it in there good, and press on the button as hard as you can and rip it off. It can be taken off .

Safety on, I use the cleaning rod to push the button. The stock-mounted spring is not pushing the two parts you want to separate, so add a little force to the triggerguard, pull it away from the receiver as you push the button.
