Alright /k/ I may have the opportunity to buy an old SPAS-12 here soon from a family friend. It's got the old style receiver, recalled flip safety, folding stock, and the 24" barrel with an 8-round tube.
I imagine I could probably buy it for around the $800ish mark. Should I do it for memes and as a general investment? I'll never use the safety.

Yes.
>>29193082
Buy it or forever be a faggot
>>29193082
>$800
jesus god yes do it
If you buy it can I come over and we can play Jurassic Park?
>>29193082
might as well, resale value down the road, let alone now, is a great investment
be aware, as im sure you are, they are finicky motherfuckers
800? Yes, buy it.
>>29193082
Around $800?? Absolutely.
What's the hook for?
>>29193363
So you can still use it with one arm
>>29193082
You buy the fuck out of that sombitch!! Even if you don't want it or like it, you buy it.
You could pretty easily turn around and sell it for almost twice that much, if not more.
>>29193363
To hang it up when you're done operating.
>>29193082
>I'll never use the safety.
Cyrus approves.
>>29193409
Frankly i approve of this
That's a pretty good deal for a SPAS. Did you check what parts it has? You might luck out and find it has a shot diverter and scope mount.
It's very obvious it's been used heavily though, so check the grip plug and receiver buffer
on the open market the gun is worth 1,200 - 2,500
>So for $800.00 yeah it's a fucking sweat deal,
only if you do check / replace the buffer
>>29193409
I did not know SPAS was forgotten.
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?
>>29193612
yeah, in the video he mentions that it's not a forgotten weapon, but it's just such a cool gun that he wanted to do a video anyway.
SPAS 12 is a novelty shotgun at best
>>29193553
>>29193585
I know it's got no other accessories. It saw some use, bite definitely not heavy. The buffer needs replaced on it.
>>29193175
>>29193373
I understand that they're pretty terrible as a shotgun objectively. High brass only for semi, and the controls are clunky. The thing is rugged, sure, but really the worst of both worlds.
>Looks cool though lol
But the fact that 1843 existed legally stateside at the time of their ban in 1990 (and who the fuck knows how many now) it's a solid investment. Plus muh Bob Peck RIP in Piece
>>29193612
It's been covered up by endless MW3 vids, whereas actual gun info is quite rare.
Go for it. Guns like that attract clever girls.
>>29193612
forgotten in the sense nobody is using them at all in the real world
>>29193777
Holy Trips
Yeah, I know. But it might be $800 worth of novelty.
>>29193777
It's a functional design to be honest, just overlooked because of some finicky qualities and it being very heavy.
