There's three impacts. Suit meats object, man meets suit, man's insides meet the rest of him. In theory, if the suit fits the man perfectly, he can't hit himself against it. So you're removing piece of the chain, in theory. I'm an EMT, not a physicist.

No, not yet. Materials science is way, way behind, especially in regards to powerplant. Best that could be currently managed is something like the powerloader, or the suits from Avatar or the Matrix.
