I don't understand why a smaller RCS matters. A golf ball sized object flying at 20k feet at 800mph is too suspicious to be ignored as a golf ball. Same with a duck sized object. It won't be ignored regardless of size. A truly radar invisible plane should follow the flight path of the object it resembles. If it shows up as a duck on radar, it should fly like a duck.

A golfball has to be 10x closer than an ordinary airplane in order to be detectable at all. A golfball can conceal itself with a jammer thousands of times less powerful than a regular airplane. A golfball must be illuminated thousands of times more intensely before a radar can track it; giving the golfball a better chance of receiving a radar warning.
It's not that the plane is pretending to be a fucking duck or golfball, it's that a duck or golfball is much harder for a radar to detect in the first place.

a plane definitely is not. it's RCS can increase by orders of magnitude, just by slightly altering the aspect.
the golf-ball/ball bearing/some tiny animal RCS equivalent is always the best case scenario, that applies only in a narrow cone looking at the plane from the front and slightly below.
