Pic semi-related.

wat do?
>>
throw it into the trash because you should have gotten an m&p
>>
>>29166692
Yep.
>>
>>29166692
This. Buying a new shit gun is infinetely worse than buying a good used gun. For fucks sake, there isn't even much of a price difference between that and an m&p
>>
get some bullets and shoot it and practice and get good.

Get 5 mags for it, and shoot some more, then practice mag changes.

Gratz OP on your first gun. Shoot at the range, make pals. Ask if you can shoot other people's guns because its your first time shooting whatever they've got. Reciprocate also, offer your gun up to people to see if they like it.
>>
Wow, you bought the worst gun imaginable, the only use for it is shooting yourself in the head for making such a huge mistake.
>>
Better than the smegma at least. Still probably should've gotten a used M&P
>>
feel the burn of getting a shitty glock knock-off.
>>
>>29166752
m&p is usually about 100 jewbucks more.

OP, you got a good budget pistol. Now go shoot it and get good.
>>
Literally every breakdown video comparing the VEGAS to the M&P and even glock, shows that there's very little differences, and that the S&W SD9 may be the budget pistol ever made

No, you. The SD9 and the M&P are very, very close to being the same gun, minus a few differences in the springs and minor design choices.

I have had mine for a while. I like it. The trigger isn't too bad. There's nothing wrong with it anons. Has anyone else here shot one?
>>
>>29166676

Go shooting bruh.

They arent bad for the money, I had an old school sigma for a while and while the trigger was a little on the heavy side, it never jammed one time and they are OK as far as accuracy once you get used to the heavy trigger
>>
>>29166676
My first gun as well. The trigger is heavy as balls, but you probably already knew that. Nothing you can't compensate for if you learn good technique, and there's a fairly inexpensive spring set that will reduce it a bit.

Your only mistake is asking /k/ their opinion.
>>
SD9VE owner here. Excellent gun, just needs the trigger unfucked. Get an Apex Trigger kit for it, reduces the pull down to about 5 or 6 pounds.

Wow.

>>29168142
I do understand that. I am talking about the Sigma. That's why I specified "old school sigma"
Kill yourself.
>>
>>29168165
>I do understand that. I am talking about the Sigma.
Good lord. You literally stumped yourself.
>>
>>29168175
I am talking about the sigma since everyone was dogging it. I know that is a different gun (although very similar) to OP's. Your reading comprehension is questionable.
>>
Jesus the SD9 hate is real here. OP, I sold about a dozen of these things in the month I worked at Rural King. They're great little guns for the money. Mags are kind of expensive, but really what isn't these days?

>wat do

Ever heard the one about the cab driver in New York? A man stopped him and asked "How do I get to Carnegie Hall?" And he answered--"Practice, practice, practice." Go get some Tula or whatever the cheapo ammo is near you. Get to a range and start shooting. Anything less than 100 rounds on a range trip is kind of a wasted time--you don't spend enough time correcting yourself before you pack up and go home. Most indoor ranges have some real mickey mouse bullshit rules (seriously, wait for a /k/ range stories thread and read through it), which sucks considering you're usually paying something between $15-20 just for an hour at one. If you can find a friend with land, or an outdoor range without an RO, you'll have a much better time. Just make sure you get a target holder, as the ones at the ranges are usually shot to shit and are a bitch to mount your oversized paper targets to. Holsters should be easy to come by for it, as it's a pretty generic shape and size. It's a little big for CC but perfect for innawoodsing. Any other questions, lemme hear them.

it's not bad at all
it's just called taurus pt-92 and that name just stings
