What does /k/ think of the Vz.58, especially for places that don't allow AKs?

I got mine with 5 mags and all the other shit for 499usd. It was a steal for how much fucking fun that rifle is.
It does heat up really fast though. I did a three gun with it and burned my hand because I was in a hurry and was stupid. It had only been 35 rounds. Still, my fault, not the rifles.
If you can get one with a few extra mags for less than 500 I'd say do it. Otherwise get an AR or an AK.

Probably better barrel and a fixed gremlin problem for the CZ. Also a better finish and a name stamp that sounds good. Other than that, probably not too much.
Do I think the CZ is better? Yes. Is it worth 500 dollars more? To me, no.
Unrelated to that, I have the 2008 and I like it a lot. Fairly accurate and super lightweight. The other guy has a point, though. It heats up very fast and there's not much to shield your hand. I have a Slovak style brake on mine and it sounds pretty good (and very loud). Recoil is not bad for how light it is.
