so the other day I asked you assholes if i should buy a Predator Customs complete lower with a 7.62 frakenupper with 5 mags and 500 rds for $600. keks were had. Well, i bought it, and it would not feed for shit.... until i ground off the feed ramp. I didn't even do a good job. 200 shitty steel cased rounds later and not a single malfunction. Why is /k/ so anti 7.62 ar if they are so easy to get working? Im beginning to believe you ARE all nofun poorfags.

in general I always heard that the failure point in 7.62x39 ar's was the magazines, not the feed ramps. But im glad yours works man. have a fun time out their.

i just dont get the hate. It seems that a reliable ar shooting the 7.62 would be ideal as its the best of both worlds (AR+AK) yet everyone thinks they are shit.

I think .300blk is just too convenient if you already own a 5.56 AR. I think you'd be silly to get a x39 AR (or necessary parts) if you already own a 5.56 AR.

this. if you reload it makes sense though. 7.62 is still cheap as hell. my ar came with the 7.62 upper and alot of ammo. i wouldn't have ever messed with 7.62 otherwise. glad i got it though. should make a nice range/hunting rifle. also being able to swap out uppers and fire either of the most common battle rifle rounds in a shtf situation would be pretty usefull.

A good deal does not make a good gun. Plenty of shit products can be made to work with user end modifications. That doesn't make them good.
If you bought a TV but had to solder a new power supply in to get it to work out of the box, that is a shit TV, no matter how cheap it is.
$600 isn't even THAT cheap. You can get a WASR-10 for a little more than that, and you don't have to take a fucking dremel to it.

Never had this problem or feed problems for that matter with my PSA 7.62. I'm about 1k rounds in and nothing out of the ordinary as far as feeding/ejecting or with light strikes. I'm also running an M16 bolt carrier and a jp enterprises silent captured spring, so idk if that has anything to do with it.
