What are /k/ approved states?
>>
>>28909103
Louisiana is alright for hunting. Economy is pretty trash though.
>>
>>28909125
What about Oregon, Washington, and Colorado? I wanna move to one of those states one day.
>>
California
>>
>>28909144
I'd say Washington and Oregon, Colorado only allows magazines that hold 15 rounds, and shotungs with 8 round magazines.
>>
>>28909103

Definitely not Maryland.
>>
>>28909144
Colorado always appealed to me because low humidity and not flat terrain.
>>
>>28909103
Kansas and Kentucky.
>>
Arizona, dont need a ccw, no restrictions, no waiting, background check done in 15 min, fun shows every month, great for hunting deer, elk, bear, coyotes, birds, varmits etc

Every state that isn't NY, NJ, CA, IL, CO, MD, WA, or OR.
>>
>>28909245
>No restrictions

Tell that to university campuses and injun lands, aka, the majority of Arizona.

Texas here, we suck, slightly less now, but we do suck.
>>
I nominated Montana.
>>
>>28909279
>suppressors
>legal to own and hunt with in Hawaii
Only if you're LEO with department letterhead and only for hunting invasive species with no season or limit (what the rest of the world considers "varmints").
>there are zero SOT FFL's in the entire state
>>
>>28909319
Reasons why we suck?
>>
>>28909311
>and Federal agents
Fucking this. There are more Federal agents in TX than there are state/local LEOs
>CBP
>INS
>US Marshals
>all 5 branches of the military have their CID headquartered there
>literally thousands of MP's/SP's due to having 4 major military bases
>ATF has a regional office there
>FBI has a regional office there
>CIA has a regional office there, rumored to headquarter some of their DA teams there
>DIA is rumored to have a regional office there
>>
>>28909292
I should have clarified, no restrictions as in no magazine limit, types of weapons you cant buy in commiefornia, i figured schools would be a given
>>
I am sorta interested in moving to Nevada. Is it as based as I hear? The open land and gun rights are enticing.
>>
>>28909319
Taxas if the USA of USA. how do you guys suck?
>>
Nevada is best as long as you avoid vegas
>>
>>28909279
>Illegal in Vermont
>Legal in Maryland
Honestly what the fuck?
>>
>>28909227
We get around mag laws no problem, stores sell "parts kits."
>>
>>28909144
>>28909215
I'd be careful about the PNW. Lots of shifty new laws in the works.

Utah hasn't been mentioned yet, so: Utah.
>>
>>28909391
Stay away from vegas if possible, but even then it's not bad. Come on over. You'll love it
>>
>>28909364
Need a LTC to carry, open or concealed, currently no campus carry, and when it is implemented it will be neutered, municipalities frequently flaunt state law, and even when given teeth to move on it, the state shuffles it's feet, Texas LEO's are notoriously anti-gun, fudds as far as the eye can see, carry a big gun friendly reputation that makes us a target for the antis, but even the republicans frequently kill gun/knife bills, can't carry bowie knives, or daggers, or clubs. We have great personal protection laws, but we are saddled with shitty weapons laws, almost every freedom loving state has left us in the dust bin, and we are just now trying to catch up.

>shall issue CC permits/CLEO signatures for NFA
>suppressors legal for every use, including HD/SD and hunting
>no restrictions at all on NFA, we even have a public range for people with DD's up to and including 155mm artillery
>castle doctrine/SYG "anywhere you are at legally"
>protection from civil suits in defensive shootings
>legal to shoot cops operating outside their authority (if they no-knock the wrong house and you drop one because they didn't announce themselves, and somehow manage to survive his 7 buddies, you're legally in the clear)
>Over one thousand state-run public ranges, over 400 of which are completely free to use
>shooting legal on all state owned wildland

It's not perfect though.
>cannot hunt with NVG's, though they are legal to own and use outside of hunting
>cannot hunt with lasers or weaponsights that project anything beyond the muzzle (though this is pretty universal), though they are legal to own and use outside of hunting
>no state preemption, municipalities can go more restrictive (though anything beyond "safe and sane" fireworks laws is political suicide here and unlikely to pass)

Nah, you get disqualified by a technicality, and even then you still have Filthadelphia.
>>
>>28909424
What shitty new laws? I live in WA and haven't heard anything.
>>
>>28909511
whoops, also forgot the DEA, which is separate than the DIA (which wasn't a typo). They have a regional office in San Antonio.

Also the IRS, though not sure if those count as "federal agent" since they're not LEO. Also everyone has a shitload of IRS guys.
>>
>>28909550
I'll agree on the Filthydelphia comment, the place is a fucking liberal Mecca. Everything in between Philly and Pittsburgh is pretty /k/, though.
>>
>>28909598
I'm not a WAfag myself, but from what I hear:
Clampdown on private sales--this is I594, I think.
Ammo tax or something (this might just be King County, though, and it might be proposed, not law yet)
Also I remember hearing something about a proposed AWB--not worried that it'll pass now so much as worried that they might try again in 20 years, if this is even a thing.

>>28909467
>>legal to shoot cops operating outside their authority (if they no-knock the wrong house and you drop one because they didn't announce themselves, and somehow manage to survive his 7 buddies, you're legally in the clear)
Why can't I hold all this freedom?
>>
Tennessee
>>
>no one's mentioned Nebraska yet
C-cmon guys remember us? The most well known state Nebraska
>>
How /k/ is Montana?
>>
>>28909661
Yeah the I594 went through but no cops in the rural parts of the state enforce it. The bullshit gun violence tax is only in Seattle, and this state is pretty damn conservative and gun loving except for Seattle and Olympia so I doubt an AWB would work.

So true, I've been a St. Croix County resident for 11 years with plenty of land to shoot on and plenty of neighbors to shoot with.

Maximumfreedom/10, you can open carry a full auto dick mounted .50cal and no one would think twice about it.

As far as I know Montana and Wyoming are anything goes states when it comes to guns. Not a lot of people live there and the ones that do are freedom loving Cowboys.

It's not too bad. You're right about the fudds in the west, but outside of the really downtown areas of Omaha, it's still pretty /k/. Even liberals by nebraska standards are conservative by cali or NY standards. Not required to register any firearm outside of Omaha, and even then it's just handguns. Only bad thing is no campus carry

No. I love it here, and it's so much better than upstate Jew York, but it isn't /k/-approved.
