Lots, the Zip-22, most of the Tec-9, The Colt Lightning, basically every Saturday Night Special, Röhm revolvers, and then the INSAS which might be the worst weapon ever fielded by a any armed forces in the 20th century and beyond.

The Calico isn't excellent, but it works for plinking provided you understand how the mags are used.

>>28892324
Not an issue, if you've handled one you'd know that it manages (amazingly) to retain it's zero between magazine changes, the sights work for the kind of weapon it is, a light pistol-caliber weapon used at 50-200max yds, it does this fine, it's in fact fairly accurate, it uses the same kind of roller-delayed action like the MP5.

I will say, however, that I would rather have placed the mag under the barrel like on a Bizon, and then have the ejection on the right side.

The Calico is a good weapon conceptually, and so-so in execution, I feel they make great plinkers, I wouldn't rely on one.

>>28892586

Absolutely asinine concept for a weapon.

Had the carbine version I found beat up original at a pawn shop, fixed it up and got a new magazine for it (it was missing and so extra cheap) also got the rail to mount a day glow green laser, it was a super fun hole puncher at the range, accurate and after I took a diamond file to the rough trigger group parts it had a smooth 6 and a half pound triggerpull. ended up selling it to a friend of mine, kind of miss it but I wanted a calico pistol more then the carbine.
>>
>>28892385

I have a 2a1 enfield made by those indians and it is a fantastic rifle, all the fun of a enfield mk3 but in glorious 7,62 nato, Also the magazine is weird in that it is made for 10 rounds but fits 12 without a problem (besides possible spring fatique if you left it loaded)

>>
>>28898361
That's all I know about it, really.
You can see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCZfIwuS4JM
That it apparently doesn't require metal barrel inserts, but if you don't use them I imagine you're going to need to replace the cylinder after some shots.

Uses elastic bands for the springs...

iirc the people who make it look at it kinda like the liberator pistol from the 40's - better than nothing, and "muh freedom". I think it's pretty cool. You could easily make one without adding in the legally amount of detectable metal, but that would be illegal. I don't think the roofing tack is going to set off any detectors...

Not really.

They're not amazing, but they're also not dogshit.

The magazines are a bit finicky, and some people never understand that you have to wind the spring mechanism correctly or it'll fail to feed. If you wind them the correct amount of times, they should typically feed fine.

It has a roller-delayed blowback action like an MP5, which lends itself well to accuracy and keeps recoil light.

That said, this isn't a weapon you should try to rely on, they could probably work in an emergency, but if in an emergency, I had to pick between a H&K SP89 pistol or a Calico M950 pistol, I'd err on the side of caution and use the SP89 because the magazines are less testy
>>
>>28902974
What's wrong with the UMP? I ask as someone who both loves it in vidya and is vaguely interested in purchasing the civvie version down the road.
>>
>>28903451
Basically, the body of the gun is way too light, and one of the heaviest elements of the gun is the bolt, when the gun cycles, most of the weapon's weight shifts in your hand and it's very difficult to keep the gun on target in rapid fire or full-auto, the recoil has been described as stiff and unpleasant, even in 9mm

If you want one as a collectible, go for it, but keep in mind you're looking at a neutered gun which is very expensive, and if you want to make it look as close as possible to the real deal, you will basically have to pay a specialist company lots of money to source parts and cut up and reweld the plastic receiver to the original parts.

This isn't something you can really do yourself either, welding plastic requires a specialist with specialist tools, and the replacement parts isn't necessarily something you can pick up everywhere.

I'd personally just settle for a gas operated airsoft replica, it costs a fraction and you won't get that snappy recoil shaking through your shoulder with every shot. The weight and handling will feel very similar.

H&K devised the UMP series as a budget alternative to the MP5, and while it's cheaper, a lot cheaper, very few departments and units have actually purchased them, because it's better to just spend more money on an MP5 which is a thousand times better

Basically, the USC comes with a fixed thumbhole stock, they'll have to cut off the stock, it's bracket and the grip, then go get "demilled" parts to reweld onto the gun, then they have to get a replacement magwell because the regular magazines don't fit, remember that this thing was put out during the AWB, then they'll have to refinish it because the plastic will be mismatched, and finally, you'll probably end up wanting to get an SBR stamp for it because otherwise it'll look silly.

You're looking at maybe 2000-4000 usd to get this done.

There's a clone of it coming out, the LWRC SMG-45, which is made out of aluminum and probably handles better from not being way too light. If you want a weapon that's like the UMP but more practical, check that out.

As a practical firearm, it was fucking atrocious. But as an historical oddity, it was fascinating.

Because that's something the average joe can do skillfully and make it look good, especially to an expensive out of production firearm.

>loading the bullets into thin brass case before putting them into the magazine.
>bend the brass to keep rounds in

Jesus Christ, its even more retarded than I thought.
How many people in the military did they have to bribe to push this thing through.

Oiler looks like petrol tank in motorcycle.
As if it was engine powered. :)

I think the judge doesn't meet the criteria of being a worst gun ever because you can just load it with .45 LC and have a decent, though low-capacity revolver. The downsides of the judge don't make it a bad gun, just an impractical, overhyped one.

Loaded with .45 Colt rounds, it's a mediocre revolver.

Loaded with any .410 bore shells, it's a fun toy

If you want a good .45 revolver, keep looking, if you want goofy rangetoy that's probably a bit of fun, sure, go for it.

I'm just waiting for someone from the Nexus to make one once the GECK comes out.
>>
>>28904212
Right...it's not exactly a glowing review to say that in the best case scenario, it's mediocre. Is it a GOOD gun? Well, it's hard to come up with a theoretical situation where a .410 handgun would be the #1 choice... But is it on par with a chauchat? No way.

Oh yeah, speaking of Fascist Italy, I remembered this:

>“The Carcano’s problem wasn’t in it’s design, but in the specifics of ammunition manufacture. Italian manufacturers made those 6.5x52 cartridges in a variety of powder loads and ah, levels of quality control. These hugely diverse rounds were then all mixed up together in depots and jammed willy-nilly into stripper clips, meaning that the poor Italian rifleman could never count on his ammo doing the same thing twice.”

Not so much a bad weapon, as it's shit procedure.
It's like the M16, it wasn't bad at all, the ammo and mags was just dogshit

I think most surplus must be shot up by now.

I think the rifle is probably "alright" with modern commercial ammo.
