22lr with a 100 round mag so it's cheaper to use.

Does the 22lr make enough sound to be effective ? It's a guess and I might be wrong but isn't loud sounds preferable if your goal is to make your targets cower ?

A large number of rounds landing on or around the enemy will make them cower. If they are taking casualties they will get down.

As measly as it may be, it'll still cause injuries. I wonder what kind of cover would work against .22lr but not 5.56. Like the crumbling building material of middle eastern builds or just plain mud huts, would one of those walls stop a .22lr but get punched by 5.56

The one you posted
Learn to bump fire it and it's mad fun
>>
>>28741206
Basically the RPK is designed for sustained full auto fire. Beefier receiver, trunnion and barrel. You would be hard pressed to hurt an RPK with sustained fire because mag changes give it enough time to cool enough that it won't blow up. With a normal AK you could definitely blow it up.

>>28737332
You cannot do suppressive fire effectively with a semi-automatic weapon.

Your better off buying a BCI lower, a autosear hole jig, and M16 lower parts kit. Then slap on an HBAR upper or something and a bipod.

I can give links if someone is curious.

A runner up would be a vepr. Heavy barrel, 1.5 reciever and adjustable rear sight. Lengths vary depending on import, but range from 16-20. Fime is importing them now and they will prolly end up in the $550-650 range. Iv8888 did a video showing what these things can do.

Just give it up faggot. You're from halfway around the world. You don't know shit about our country's laws and it's founding aside from whatever bullshit they try to place on us after we declared dependence and told you to fuck off. That's the exact reason the Second Amendment was created. So that we could tell faggots like you to fuck off and prevent you from trying to take away any other freedoms along with those regarding weapons, should we ever have a foreign or domestic entity try to strip away the rights of the people and abuse power.

Honestly most of Europe should understand this even better than the U.S. considering that your entire continent has a much longer, incredibly and bloody history than our country. But somehow even after numerous abusive tyrants, civil wars, mass slaughter of civilians and opponents of the ruling party and a genocide or two, the majority of you don't get it. Hell, a 17 year old girl is the one who's being charged in your shithole of a continent after using peppers pray against someone who attempted to rape her.

Fucking
Pepper spray.

But I suppose at this point, you're all beyond hope.

I don't think all you Eurofags are bad, but holy shit, half the people that shit up this board are from fucking bongland. If you like your "common sense gun laws" bullshit, fuck off this board and go encourage the EU semiauto ban they've been pushing.

Have fun getting fined and/or possibly jailed for daring to resist Ahmeed and his brother Muhammad when they come to beat you within an inch of your life and rape your wife and daughter for not being Muslim.
>>
>>28741494
>closed bolt

>>
>>28741177
I'd like to know why exactly do you think quiet is something you'd want in a supressive weapon
>>
>>28743031
I don't know if this holds water, but if they can't hear you, they can't shoot back, can they? And I'm sure the sound of bullets hitting the ground/concrete/whatever around them would still scare the shit outta whoever got on the bad side of a /k/ommando.
>>
>>28743031
So they have a harder time determining the exact source, giving longer suppression time without retribution.

My guess anyway, not the same guy.

I can understand using a bumpfire stock/bump firing for fun, but why would you use one when the main goal is suppressive fire? It only takes 2rds/sec to keep a group of people from lifting their heads. That's ~30 seconds of sustained fire from an RPK with a drum mag, and with a buddy you can basically sustain fire for as long as you have ammo until it stovepipes in 2,000 rounds for overheating.

I mean, the Ruskies use their RPKs in semi auto for a reason. I feel like ammo conservation, especially for armies or parties that aren't large and well sustained, is very important.
>>
>>28743879

Yeah, but at the time they were going for over $200 a peace. You see, they are "collector items". If I just wanted 45 round mags, I could have saved about $5-600.
>>
>>28737332

5.45 VEPR, 16" or 20" barrel, fluted if you can find one, with 45-rd RPK mags or a few of those 95-rd drums if you've got money to blow.

Or just an AR with Beta-mags.
