thats a real cool opinion, but you see it has a fuel line and a ladder extended, which means the engines are not on.
Because the fuel line would have a really good chance of getting sucked right into the intake.

Doesn't matter. The S-duct on a fighter is behind the diffuser anyways (or sometimes, conveniently, part of it), so flow is subsonic in both cases.

Fighters have a low bypass fan, and the others have a high bypass fan.
The military got away from turbo-jets a long time ago.
