My experience is that possums come equipped with litterbox training as standard equipment. I got invaded by 3 baby possums once, they stayed behind my file cabinet for about a week. Every night they would come out to eat cat food, drink cat water, and use the cat box. Then they would troop back behind the file cabinet.
