Alright /k/omrades, I've been a hasgunz since I was 12 but I only had a few hunting rifles and shotguns. I liked shooting them and all but I only really cared about them when I was at the range or hunting. Late last year I bought a WASR 10 and I can't keep my mind or my hands off of it. At first it was weekly but now I feel strong compulsions to fondle it multiple times a day and they are only getting stronger. When I shoot it I feel satisfied for a bit but still feel the need to hold it.
What is happening? Am I getting addicted to shooting this gun or are the spirits of dead Slavs taking over my body? I don't even want it to stop, I just don't have the time for it.

Was no guns, but I've had my WASR for about 2 months now and I long for its touch daily. When I'm in meetings at work my mind wanders and I think about just racking the bolt. Long for that sharp crack that sounds like a "TOOK." Long for the smell of powder. Long for humping long distances in the woods with it on my back and posting up under the quietest tree and just giving it a good cleaning.

Honestly? Haven't gone out and shot it yet, kek, just got a few days ago. Fit and finish is better than the PSA parts built rifle that I had before I sold it by far. Don't even regret that I paid a little bit more than MSRP because I was there, had the money, and wanted to fill back up that AR gap.
