I got my first in early 2012, so about four years. this was my first arsenal thread pic from July of that year.
at one point I was averaging one gun every month or two, but last year I only bought three.
there aren't many more I realistically plan to get.
a Garand for certain.
maybe a 9mm Luger, .455 Webley, 12ga O/U, and .30-06 FN49 if I can find any for a decent price

I'm always interested in hearing more suggestions

Your lever guns are sexy as hell.
>>
>>28599453
last summer I moved out to the boonies so I can shoot in my back yard whenever the hell I want, which usually happens two to four times a week.

used to be I'd bring as many guns and as much ammo to the range as I could to get the most for my money. I once even cc'd eight guns and a few hundred rounds of ammo.

nowadays I'll just shoot one on any given day to simplify cleaning, and usually not even go through a full box of ammo at a time.

lately my most shot guns have been the Winchester 1873, M1A, MR73, P210, 1911, and P220

also an O/U is on my list. I'm thinking a Franchi Instinct L since a Citori costs a bit much for how often I'd probably use it.
>>
>>28599570
>Your lever guns are sexy as hell.
thanks
I'd have to say the 1873 is my favorite. it's got a smoother action than the Browning designed 1886 and 1892, the ammo is cheaper and I've got more of it, and that Marble peep I got is possibly my favorite sight on any gun I've shot.
I probably would have preferred this version if it had come out earlier.

the 45-70 1886 is awesome, especially with Buffalo Bore ammo, but I kind of prefer .375 H&H for my BOOM now.

if you mean the model 70 safari, it's a little bit less so now.
worth it for tripling the ammo capacity though.
again I need to take an updated pic

>You have impeccable tastes.
again thanks. you too by the way. I'm sure I've said it before but I really like your 1897 trench gun and you've got one of the prettier Garands I've seen.

Not huge in versatility but a cool collection. That barrel is 16" and the wood on those FN's look wicked. Which one's your go-to? The AR-7 is good for backpacking / boating.

Two enfields, two nuggets, and a mauser? I guess you've got "full powered bolt action rifle" covered. How's that dot work for you? It's ugly as hell in my opinion. The AR and CZ are cool though.

>>28598987
8/10
I like this collection a lot, pretty simple. I like the snowflakiness of the CZ-75 and S&W. AR and AK really even things out. I would suggest sticking to a 30- or 20-round mag for pictures though, the forty looks lanky. I would suggest a full-powered rifle and a scattergun. Not a fan of the Sig or SKS.

Thanks, but if I spend much this year I might find myself squatting literally. Not really I guess, but things are tight. Next year this time I'll just be starting to feel comfortable again.

The picture doesn't even do it justice. I love it.

I got mine off CTD...company called Timbersmith makes em, but they don't sell direct (anymore?). The other black furniture anon gave me the link to their site which just links out to distributors. CTD was the only one that had any in stock, and they were cheapest. Ordered on the spot. Installation was easy but I did have to drill out new holes for the buttstock screws.
>>
>>28601279
Great. If you want a CZ 75 copy I'd definitely recommend it. For the price I paid ($280) even if it shit the bed it wouldn't be too bad but honestly I can't think of anything bad to say about it.

I don't understand all of the hate for the AR-7. I bought one in 2014 just to keep as a behind-the-seat truck gun. It's pretty hand and shoots well with the right ammo.

the dust cover that follows the bolt is cheap pot metal that broke off after a couple shots. not necessary for the thing to function so i didn't bother replacing it. Needed a little TLC on the internals as it was bone dry on the inside and missing a C-clip that was holing the trigger pin on the frame.

Beyond those 2 issues, I've had zero problems with it. Chews through everything from birdshot to slugs without missing a beat as long as you have the gas tube set properly.the sights on it are kind of junky so i threw a cheap TruGlo reflex sight on there. I can reliably put a rifled slug on a man-sized silhouette at 100 yards with it so I can't say im disappointed for the price. Especially considering the cost of a Saiga or VEPR12.
