The politics behind a military adopting a new weapon for standard US military issue are crap.
The M-16 is better. The M-4 is better. Why would we switch from better to worse, then pay to retrain soldiers?
When an American company makes a fully metal bullpup with only plastic grips where it's non-structural, maybe it'll be something worth considering. Until then, nope.
Bullpups are cool and all, and it's nice to have a large barrel in a small package, but they're not necessary.

The United States military is large than the entire EU forces combined. Figure out how much it will cost to re-equip the US military (army, marines, navy, air force, and coast guard to include reserves and national guards for all branches) with a different rifle and ask yourself if the questionable improvement over the M16/M4 is worth that cost.
