Hey. Never concealed carried before but I was wondering if there are modern single shot only revolvers that you can carry hammer down on an empty chamber?

The vertical holster would only work if I wore a jacket, which I do depending on the weather, but I tend to take it off often.

Some repro blackpower revolvers have notches between the nipples so you can run a full cylinder.

There's a lot of good cc revolvers, and you can cc some big ones if you use a shoulder strap holster. Also that site in some other sections had some good small ones, if you like a more classic and less modern design revolver, there's a lot of great small smith and Wesson revolvers you can find used or get some of the classic style new productions they do, also look at the red and black hawk rugers, a good bit of them come with a small barrel. Also look up a charter arms bulldog, comes in .44 though.

I don't heard a lot of people carrying single action ones, but there's a good bit of love(and hate) for them here. Normally what you hear for carry are smaller ones, like a LCR, new and old s&w's, colt detetive revolvers etc, and SP/GP rugers. People generally don't like Taurus but some do.

If safety is a concern for you then have no fear as the trigger pull on double action revolvers is pretty long and heavy. It'd be really, really hard for this to go off in a holster while you're carrying it.

One thing I wonder is why you want a single action? Most double actions(other than things like a LCR) let you shoot single action but with the advantage of being able too not cock the hammer with each shot.

You could and will see a lot of old models of that and there other ones in most gun shops and probably a decent bit of pawn shops or look on gunbroker and use the guide on finding a used revolver. Also been on the look out for old colt revolvers, those are really great if you find a good one.

I think this is perfect for you, it fires .22 magnum and you can even put the hammer in between cylinders not just on an empty chamber and it is single action only and you can literally carry it under your hat and no one would be the wiser.
This is literally the most amount of safeties on a revolver you could literally ask for all the while making it easy to use in a stressful situation and giving you a 0% chance of a ND.
