I tend to get along real well with Southerners....no clue why.
Everyone here in Boise is extremely friendly, in a genuine sort of way. There's no "I'm better than you" attitude that you find in LA/NY or any degenerate liberal states.
Walked into Sheriff's office, wrote them a $50 check and in exactly 30 days my conceal carry permit arrived in the mail. Few days ago went to the grocery store...was in a bit of a rush so kinda sorta was speeding a tiny bit. Did not notice it at first, but parked right next to two cops in their cars. They were shooting the shit. The shirt I was wearing tends to ride up my back and as I got out of the car, my conceal carry holster and weapon were exposed as the back of my shirt rode up. I didn't notice until I got into the store and grabbed a shopping cart. Cops didn't do a single thing to me and I'm pretty sure they saw my rig.
Weather is nice, less than 1ft of snow per year.
No humidity so temps feel "normal".
Low cost of living.
The guys at my local gun store said "Merry Christmas" to me as I walked in and walked out of the shop a few days prior to Christmas (instead of the marxist liberal "Happy Holidays" greetings you would get in a liberal state).
Women here for the most part are fit, hot and very friendly (no stuck up bitch attitudes like you'd find in LA/NY.)

Then throw in that it's pretty easy to have just one CC. Depending on the pistol you get you can get extended mags for those trouble areas while have the normal "flush" mags for better concealment. So you'll get a lot of people who carry the same thing everywhere. I do. I just swap to a larger mag if it's a trouble area or if I can conceal the larger grip (such as in winter when I'm wearing a jacket).
